To be honest with you Turk, we only new of Forthy and we noticed Paul Wright playing in the B's. It didn't really have too much of an affect on how we were going to line up. I thought the fella who stood Forthy in the B's played a fantastic game, he picked up a few easy goals late in the game, he had to work hard for every possession before then.

You were right with your comments on the "beer van", well priced beers, the kebabs were a treat and the pie I got from your canteen was a winner too.

Your boys outplayed us in the conditions, a bit more suited to that style than we were, I think it's the first sign of mud we've seen for the year.

It all makes for an interesting round this week, could still be a bit of shuffling going around.

LM..Will pass on the message re the beer van..they like positive reinforcement.

Yes agree about the guy that stood forthy did a good job..but in fairness to forthy the ball was coming into the forward line a lot different to what he has become accustomed to but none the less he was well held

Dont you just love the mud..first really bad day we have had for a while and the oval did cut up a bit

The 3rd spot on the ladder will be interesting..IMO think Plympton will hold on...they are under the radar a bit just going about things

We would luv blacks to knock GG off this week but dont think it will happen..whats blacks record like at Harpers Field ???

And greenies have not lost agame at Hicks Park this year..
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

likewise mate. tough trying to keep track of footy forum, olympics, organising my EPL fantasy team kicking off this week and trying to get some work done.

interesting results on the weekend leaves both grades up in the air for a few final spots and home finals.

agree with zedman, the umpiring was not consistent at all for the conditions. started off protecting the bloke going for the ball would have thought there'd be a procession of yellow cards after the first two early.

up to harpers field this week. few lads hit some form on saturday which was great for confidence.

blacks wont beat gg from what i saw saturday..as stated..our A grade is on its knees with 17 unavailable for selection, bos kicked the first 4 goals of the day in quick time..after that it was 12 goals to 7 for the rest of the game..bos kicked a lot of points to but imo should have blasted us off the park by 20 goals + even in the boggy conditions at the aquatic centre..i think bos might rely on 3-4 players to much at this stage of the year..but they still did what they had to do on saturday and won easily..

2 from 2 - rd 1 and 2nd semi. that was then this is now. half the A grade played both those games so it's not like there is no winning experience up there.

whats with the security dude hanging around all day..he said he just drops in on the way to work but then he was in our change rooms after the game "guarding" the umpires ???!! WTF LOL

I would've loved the mud had we of won, Rosies will throw everything at Plympton this week, be a few sore bodies I'd imagine. I can't really see BOS getting up at Harpers Field.

Sorry mate, I've just done some hypotheticals to work it out, if you guys score 180+ and keep Greenies to under 50 and we beat Ingle Farm 150 to 50, you're safe.

true, 50/50 strike rate seems to be the go this year. 25 more scoring shots, should have squeezed a few more in. maybe got a bit shot hungry after a while and didn't use others as well as they might have.

maybe some goal kicking practice at st doms on sunday mornings needed.

well since we first met last year, 5 games we had played the home team has never won. well 4 games if u dont include the neutral ground for the grand final. they have won 2 twice on our deck and we have won 2 on their deck
