A week off, hmmm, I might take up that offer!

Disagree to an extent. There is plenty to play for, granted ladder positions are unlikely to change but I think we will see these two sides clash come finals and mentally both sides would want the "edge" over the other one. I would suspect Schmiffies would've taken plenty out of their last encounter and if they were to knock off IF at IF it would do wonders for their mindset heading into finals and if they run into them i'm sure they would be very confident - confidence can take you a long way.

On the flip side, Ingle Farm wont want to lose at home, last for the season, triple header and ladies day, should be a good turnout and day. Add in that competition for spots is fierce in the A & B grade, no one will want to put a foot wrong.

In my opinion this is a must win game for Ingle Farm for a number of reasons..

nah..all psycho babble PG!..odds are smithfield wont play IFFC again this year unless its in a GF and they need to get over FPFC,AVFC and HDFC first anyway..whatever happens saturday will have zero bearing on a game that maybe played in 5-6 weeks..and thats a big maybe..granted you want to win at home on ladies day but i would be more worried about injuries than the result tbh.. :)

Ingle Farm will get to rest their players in the first week of finals anyway. Given they play North Pines next week, this week's game against Smithfield will be their last football test for three weeks - not a time to **** with form.

Full Forward looks handy
Full Forward nullified by your Full back
Full Forward kicked 9? :?

Fullback cant have nullified too well.. :?

Can you not see the use of the word 'unless'?
Cut me some slack PG, I have never seen any of these players before, and wasn't too concerned with who any of them were anyway. I was replying to a query by Great Catch.

Scott Webber has kicked a fair few goals this year, but 9 has been his biggest haul.
Jamie Lane I believe was the full forward I refer too as being nullified. Lane has kicked bags of 10, 8 and 6 (twice). As mentioned, looks to be a handy player, and is a hard match up due to his size. I thought our full back, Simon Hardy, did quite well on him considering the amount of inside 50's Smithfield had, and the quality of their forward entries.

Hopefully this clears things up PG.

Scott webber and Jamie lane are both full forwards for Smithfield, yes lane has kicked bags but so has webber I support Smithfield and lane is a very strong one on one player but the main target for them is webber, who came into the club in round 6 and has done very well

That would be the one. He prefers playing forward, so think it was more of a one off. His body has not been 100% this year, but he's been quite handy nevertheless.

Massive weekend of footy coming up!

If Flinders Park can knock off SHOC they will effectively secure the last spot in the 5.
If SHOC beat Flinders Park, Flinder Uni defeat Broadies and Ingle Farm trump Smithfield suddenly then we have 3x sides tied on 18pts and Smithfield a game above on 20pts setting up for a cracking last round..

Thoughts people?

Massive game for both Flinders Park and SHOC this weekend. If SHOC can win then they come home against Henley @ SHOC where Flinders Park will play Angle Vale @ Angle Vale. Winner of this game to take 5th spot and my tip would be Flinders Park. Unfortunately for Flinders Uni I dont think they can make it with a poor percentage and having Houghton last round.
