Hey Carey maybe you should call yourself SCAREY. What a load of crap that Salisbury North have 10 A Grade players out injured at the moment. Seems like you are making excuses for them. Try naming the 10 players. Maybe you have Halliday out but that is about it. All clubs have injuries but some try and kid others about how many they have so they have an excuse for not performing.
As far as Uni goes I also think this storey about players returning from the West Indies is also crap and even if there was a modicum of truth in it what sort of form and fitness would they be returning in. Its not a good situation when one of there most experienced players, Galpin was bagging the new coach Roach at the start of the year to all and sundry and saying he would only play C grade this year and after 4 rounds he is playing A grade. Must be difficult for him to look his coach in the eye each week after costing Uni potential recruits by his pre season stance only for him to change his mind when he realised he might actually get an A grade game after spending all of last year in the Bs. Some players need to have a look at themselves.

uni do have a few out with injury and unavailability (5) but they'll be too late to have a serious tilt at anything but trying to avoid relegation. certainly its not the only smoke being blown up people's bums regarding div1, its constituent sides, their respective players and $ either being paid or not paid to players.
i'll go down on record saying that i believe it would be a shame if uni were relegated (my opinion may be biased but which opinion isn't?) but they certainly have some work to do.
Roach may not have been the best option but at late notice due to Mason leaving to norwood, he may have been the best of the available senior and recognised coaches.

Heard Uni got within 5 points of Broadview on weekend, but then got blown away. Saw bits of the TTG game. Pretty impressive. Even comp this year. Apart from the last 2.

BigDaddy, too true about his kicking, too bad you can't handball goals. It must run in the family though, I think his brother used to play and he had the same kicking style. Good players though, Reece fit is the best player at the Club.

Yeah, you're right. His brother probably had an even worse kick! Lucky his pin-point rucking and slick hands around the grounds more than made up for it. Rumour has it his brother is coming out of retirement next year. He can't wait to play under the instruction of possibly the best assistant coach in the league.
