ah ok so you got me. I might try and get involved somewhere next year if anyone will have me. I had 5 pretty successful seasons across different grades and sides but have been absent the last couple who knows there might be a club willing to give me a go

Three games to go, with the announcement of Top 4 finals, has put a fair bit on the remaining trio of games.

Pembroke, Morphy Park and Walkerville have the top 3 positions sewn up, with only the final seeding to be sorted.

SMOSH West Lakes, Hope Valley and Mitcham in a frantic 3-way battle to take one last spot.

SMOSH: Gepps Cross (A), Pembroke OS (A), Kilburn (H)

Hope Valley: Walkerville (A), Kilburn (A), Mitcham (H)

Mitcham: Pembroke OS (A), Woodville South (H), Hope Valley (A)

Based on form, season results and ladder positions, you'd think SMOSH could collect 2/3, with HV and Mitcham both meeting in Rd 18 seeking their 2nd win in 3 games. Percentage will play a critical role, Mitcham appear the most hampered, currently approx 6% off 4th spot, with HV 2% behind 4th.

SMOSH in the box seat, they'll know leading into Rd 18 how much they need to win by if percentage is an issue.

D4R: Top 4 is basically set, Mitcham would need to win 3/3 and make up 8% and hope Gepps Cross drop all their games.

Also please use a capital letter for proper nouns - Pulteney. ;)

Any further developments on the said matter Mr Bedge? It's possible you owe me an apology.......

I think Mr Bedgegood should be congratulated on his appointment as A grade coach for the remainder of 2021. I would argue that no person is more deserving of an opportunity to coach A grade football. This is a fantastic chance to showcase his excellent knowledge and coaching ability for all clubs to see even if it's only for 3 weeks. Good luck mate.

Definitely puts you in pole position for 2022

I've said enough on the topic.. we should be talking about the clubs that matter right now, and the huge weekend of games for them and their finals hopes with the revamped top 4.

Walkerville vs Hope Valley and Gepps Cross vs SMOSH West Lakes are both massive.

Walkies can sew up a top 3 spot, and keep alive their chances of finishing top (albeit slim given %).. it'll also seriously dent Hope Valleys chances oh taking the 4th spot.

Gepps Cross can stuff up SMOSH's season, or the Lions can keep their hold on 4th spot.

B Grade as said is basically set, hard to see the ladder positions changing before end of year - and I think that spells danger for Pembroke as Gepps Cross appear one of the better match up to go against them.

Had a good look at one of the finals hopefuls today in Morphy Pk though, geez they tick a lot of boxes. Good depth across their lines, multiple options, very fit, slick ball movement.

They’ll be tough to beat.

Saw most of the game and you couldn't have picked a better day for football.

Seemed like Morphy Parks could and should have went on with it but didn't get out of second gear in the last quarter.

Good clean game of footy with the class of the youngsters Hankin and Dean having a massive influence in the middle.
