id say both clubs would rather have 1 side each and prefer being slaughtered every week rather than merging and losing their club identities yeah

Um, I am not sure, just a washed up hack of a player, better off speaking to @Yank_Man who is our football director. I would hazard a guess that this week or early next week.

I would say, that for the first time in the history of marbles posts, you would be correct.

Tea Tree Gully changed 3 weeks into the season last year. But you're likely right, it's an awkward situation for everyone. I know the people behind the scenes are working extremely diligently to ensure the best result for as many stakeholders as possible.

What I do know is that if we go into round 1 in D6 against Mawson Lakes with the side we fielded against Flinders Uni, we will have SAAFL record scores to manage and it may well require some integral calculus to work out the differential.

They'd have to chase Elizabeth 70-30 (450) v North Pines 1-3 (9), Div 6 2005....

Yeah ok, since it's at our home so there wouldn't be any timekeeping anomalies I would like to think we would fall short of that.

It will be a long day though, no matter what.

It's a tiny oval from memory?

Admittedly 71 goals is one tiny oval. I wonder what the highest score on Kane Reserve ever was?

Yes, Mawson Lakes away then Rosewater at home is clearly NO perfect start. 'FACT' yes we are talking to Flinders Uni and there is a lot to sifted through. Both clubs want to keep their identity but at the end of the day it will be a decision by the league. The ultimate is to see both clubs regroup and ensure we both have 2 teams again in 2015. Support is what we both need guys and that starts here on the forum. Cheers

That's a massive score. Elizabeth and us were daylight ahead of the comp that year and Elizabeth won the flag. I think we kicked 50 goals against North Pines 2 weeks earlier on St.Marys Park.

Cheers Jetters, we haven't always agreed, lol, after all I'm a coach, but we've always bantered. No one wants to see clubs dissipate, cos lots of great people hang in there for what they love.

NO, absolutely not. I said we are talking, nothing more, nothing less. IF we and they agree to terms then the league will determine where we play. ;)
