Just like to pay tribute to Jason Norton. A well loved dude from Elizabeth FC. One of the best blokes u will ever meet. Had some great times with him back in the day. Was a great influence on me at a young age. I wanted to be just like him :). One dude no-one could say a bad word about. He had a lot of Heart problems, which he ended up succumbing to this weekend.

Many thoughts and love to his family who are devastated at the loss of the legendary Norts! R.I.P

Totally agreed Duncs.
I played a lot of juniors and some seniors with the bloke and he was a talent whose body let him down.
A champion fella who I always looked forward to catching up with at the Big Day Out.
RIP Norts.
Condolences to family and friends on this devestating news.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

All in good humour... Plympton will be up there again this year.

I agree Smithies will climb the ladder, things sound like they are falling into place at Anderson Walk.

A lot of talk about Elizabeth on here... be interesting to see who lines up for them Round 1 2010.
We'll just take one step at a time, things aren't falling into place, blokes like bondy and the two Steves are putting things into place, positivity is infectous and these 3 along with panthergurl are giving our supporters something to be excited about.
Cheers LM!!

On a sad note would like to give my thoughts and prayers to the family of ex Smithfield Players Steve Clark RIP Buddy you will be missed.
Whatever makes you happy

South Gawler
IN
Brady Scott (Balaklava)
Andrew Milligan (COACH - Kapunda)
OUT
Lee Makris (Elizabeth)
Casey Schell (Elizabeth)
Jake McVicar (Elizabeth)
Scott Evans (Elizabeth)

Anybody got some info on the boys going to Eliz.... Glad Kookas went down to Div 6 or eliz would have had another two wins chalked up in 2010.
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

You can also add Ronnie Lee (ex Captain) to that list... all have a significant amount of A grade BLG experience and will be more than handy in a Div 5 team... Schell is a dour defender, as is Ronnie Lee, Makris sits in the middle and bombs 60 metre bullets with the use of his chunky legs and Mcvicar and Evans are outside players with pace, Evans is hot and cold though... Mcvicar has good skills.
Tim Clarke was the #1 player in the AFL

if its the same guy hopefully we sign him tonight when he comes down for a interview...

How did the meetings at BL go? Any signings?

Hooray for DJ! :D

Now you have DJ and the Bear  (sorry, only the oldies might get that joke  )

Now, if you were to sign Wonderboy and Jimmy Smith, I reckon you'd be a chance for that trainer you always wanted

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
