Unfortunately the wrong Gepps team turned up today, looked hesitant and slow and made many skill errors and kicking for goal was terrible. A long preseason awaits them and a key forward should be very high on the list of recruiting priorities, what they currently have is not good enough on a consistent basis.
On another subject, it appears the League hasn't learnt from last years finals series when the catering at Thebby was a disaster, today didn't auger well for the next couple of matches unless they make some drastic improvements.
Ran out of Light beer, bread for the barby and all before the start of the A grade game at 2.30. Only had 1 booth open for drink sales and not enough people serving was another obvious improvement they can make.
That's not bad for a start.

Ace, have to agree with you on the catering .
WTF , the people running SAAFL do a good job running a football league but know f##k all about catering.
only two outlets for BBQ, bar and canteen what a joke
any weekend at most clubs would have all these as a seperate function and running very well [cos they realise that's where the $$$ come from ]
any club in any div would have welcomed an expected crowd like this and prepared accordingly but unfortunatley the SAAFL expect the punters to pay their 'hard earned' and be treated like crap.
last SAAFL final that i attend if the "powers that be" are "running" the show
P.S i think you have glossed over a lot of things lacking in GX's game [ not taking away anything from TTG, who as you said, deserved their win today ]

Henley to win a final this week finally, they should account for the Saints easily. 31-40
