Good to see that St Paul's were back to somewhere near their best on the weekend...interesting to read in the sportsbeat that Henley were tipped in an upset. After quarter time they were never in it. I think the other three contenders in Colonel Light Gardens, Wingfield and Trinity should be very wary because if St Paul's rock up on their game they could beat all three of those teams. Nice bag there by the Horse, the supply must've been pretty good! With another 4 players still to come back St Paul's might've just turned the corner for the better... :D

We were just happy to actually play 4 quarters of good football.
Was a pretty good win considering Henley dropped about 4 or 5 B graders down into the C's for this week.

Shobtop can you explain to me how a team with over 100 players to pick from and considering your A's and B's had a bye this week how did you only have about 5 supporters on saturday? Even your D grade didn't stay and support you guys, that's pretty disappointing.

ill answer it, was very disapointing i must say to have very few rock up and watch, as it was such a massive match. i know over a dozen players are currently in bali, few more over in melbourne, but still doesnt explain the reason for it. its pretty much split down into the a's and b's, then you have the cs and ds.
the b graders who played for the cs this week, only the 1 hadnt played for the cs this year..
still more should have been there suppoting the cs, who seem to have no chance of finals footy this year.
good win by the ds, who only had 14 players at around 11oclock on the saturday, but were able to gather some from around the place, and with some playing with injuries, it was good to get the points.

Cheers egg, still find it hard to believe a club who has over 100 blokes to pick from struggle to fill 2 sides?

Our B grade has to deal with trying to find players to play everyweek. Saturday we had no CHF, no CHB, no Ruckman and played 1 short on the bench taking that into consideration I thought we battled manfully.
