Besides their white socks the crabs looked good today
Rowe was the difference, always reminds me of a lee tutor that played for geelong
Is smithfield the first side to beat flinders park at home this year?

Angle Vale and Houghton tied on 22pts and play each other before the end of the season, and both finish the season home against tough opponents likely to be fighting for a finals spot while Smithfield have Broadies last round..

Given their percentage, they'll probably need to beat Ingle Farm this week as well.

Houghton have a tough run (broadview, angle vale away, crabs away) may lose last 2 if crabs upset them? = 12 wins
angle vale (shocs at home, houghton at home, flinders park at home) who knows what will happen here, could lose all 3 but likely at least 2 wins = 13 wins, no easy games for angle vale now but this could take them a long way in finals ie:tougher lead up
smithfield will need to beat Ingle farm for a 3rd spot

FOURTH ESTATE wrote:To All D7 Clubs
The Broadview Football Club wishes to advise after much thought and consideration the club has withdrawn the D7Res side from the competition for the remainder of the 2013 season.
Season 2013 promised a lot for both our C & D Grade after a successful D8 & D8R season in 2012 but due to injuries and player transfers this has seen the player stocks take a severe hit this year.
We thank all other clubs for being understanding of the last few weeks as attempted to keep the side going but the lack of numbers finally took its toll.
The club wishes all teams the best for the rest of the season in this grade.

About the only thing broken is SAAFL's acceptance of the Henley C Grade/D Grade debacle. Still, it's a challenge!

Not really anything the SAAFL can do. It is a club culture issue. You wonder how many of Henley's Div 7 players are happy with the situation?
