If they dont win the flag there is something wrong. Not trying to convince you glenunga went well, but BL are a seriously well drilled, well balanced and professional unit.

BL could have declared at half time and gone for the outright with that score, hey zedman? ;)

DUDE! They have played one game againsy a mob who cant even get 20 blokes on the track. They will be more than competitive but to say they will win the flag by ten goal, beat country A grade sides and would win a flag in div 3 is somewhat a rash statement. Very, very, very,RASH!

Was probably the best standard football match ive seen since we've been in DIV 6. Both sides were very good at times and use the ball well. Unfortunately we just couldnt put CLG away in the 3rd quarter after being up by 4-5 goals and they eventually ran over the top of us.
Would be surprised if CLG don't finish top 2 again this yr.

Also not a total bad result for West Croydon. No1 Ruckman and CHF didnt play.

But will Ali play at all this year? I think he is having trouble making up his mind at the moment.

BL were awesome but to say they will win the flag after round one is F*n silly seing that you have injuries and all that. especially if all those central reserves players get a call up for the reserves (cant see why they wouldnt either based on yesterday). Havin said that, they were tall, quick, polished and hard at it, itd take an awesome team to beat them... Jimmy lougnan, if u want us glenunga mob to do well, id stop embarrassin yourself on this forum by ur ridiculius statements!

As for the new recruits, yeah we all played and yeah we are all VERY unfit! You wont see the best out of us until another months time but it'll come slowly. Two of the 'recruits' have been to 3 trainings between them, while the other 2 are coming back from 2-3 seasons out of the game..not makin any excuses but they shouldn't have been talked up all preseason like they were...im a bit of a culprit for that too but aye.

If any tall players want to come out to Glenunga (above 6"0, haha i think youd be very welcome!) Well done to all teams that played on weekend anyways
