This has been going on for a long time now. Not just now that he has finally found some form. He has been training with a former gun forward during the week and it has paid off signifficantly. Reports are that the bloke that was helping him out is ready to come back AGAIN. Thus meaning Wareing is a little anxious about the whole thing. The whole superstar forward thing was a direct result of the training.
He did fair well on the weekend but thought his job was done and retired to the bench with a HAMMY strain so the other lads took charge after he did everything to get them in to the position they were in. Much like the week previous. Now the AT is back and in better form there will be no need to ask of such questions

More word is he has several different names on here and this sounds like one of them.

That was my next question, to see how the two worked together in the forward 50 (Wareing/Thorton) Whispers are that Wareing is not at all happy about Randy Orton coming back into the mix and occupying his space up forward. Any truth that Wareing may put all his cards on the table and tell the club its either him or Thorton.
[/quote]

your sources cant be to crash hot because every ones knows wareing doesnt train.
surprisingly they worked nicely together for the short period of time they were together, with both blokes playing a part in each other scoring opportunities, this really couls spell danger for opposition sides ;)

This was also a concern of mine. No they worked well together because like most games Wareing got out the way of anyone of relatively large stature. To his credit like a seagull on a chip he gobbled up most opporunities.

marbles, sounds like you have some form of vandetta against this bloke not only have you been bagging him on the div 3 site but just jumped on the div 5 bandwaggon and continued it there, is it because the oil you usually smother your body with before training was used by this individual to deep fry his dim sims or because he doesnt need the AId of a glove to mark the footy or he is currently the A grades full forward and you r the C grade full forward or is it because uses a regulation footy bag for footy instead of a satchel :D

Marbles was years ahead of the time when he produced the satchel

Thus the man bag was created. Pi$$off Paris and Milan Port Reserve was the starting block

I only read the Div 5 thread as another gun player that was let go by a club that never shuold have plays for the dogs. Now because you may tart around and then get a little niggle and not be happy (just like your hammy on the weekend ) i apologose sincerley. I would hate for us to go back to the way we used to be. You were only just getting to the stage of being happy recieving. I'd hate to jeapordise that and the bubbles.

The comparison between Wareing and Greig is far to extreme. On one hand you have a player (wareing) and the Other (Greig) completely different targets. Greig, huge lead up forward and too quick for most defenders, Consistantly kick multiples, able to turn a game on its head or get side back in it and generally get the crowd involved with his ability to bring it out of the bag when needed. Where as Wareing. Sorry havent seen enough good footy to comment.

Seriously, different footy (time and level of footy. Sturtman did shut me down when i said that Div3 4 years ago is totally different to now) different abilities and agility. Im still better tho. Wareing is a rthater shocking player taht can turn a game just havent seen it. He does comment on here but not sure if its him talking about himslef as a third or not. As i said earlier Love you Jawod

hahahaahahahahahahhahaha
they both have one thing in common neither of them have confidence issues :D
the only real difference is greig plays C grade (when given the nod from the missus) were wareing plays As
Grieg doesnt drink and enjoy his team mates company (again due to him haveing a massive bald spot were his missus thumb sits) were wareing does, and last but not least grieg is a jerk and wareing isnt ( this one is debateable though ;)

its going to be a struggle to get both andy and jarrod on the park at the same time seeing as they only have the 1 guernsey big enough (75), so jarrod will be back when we can cut another curtain down from the club and cut it to size,

=D> =D> =D> surely as fisty hasnt played this year his guernsey is available, but it will probably have to be taken in a touch as it would swim on even these 2 blokes

It was said that whilst a certain person was at the club he wouldnt be allowed to play back where he was. No it wasnt his missus either. Maybe next year he'll be back to where it began. Would be even better if Sturtman was back in the line up too. Absolute legend he was. Kepp an eye out on the sheets this week baby

It might have to be a different jumper seeing you will have to come through the grades to earn your spot back ;)

Absolute dribble....... Think its time to allocate an entire topic on Portland so the current players and past players can talk themselves up without everyone having to listen to it.....
