Should the tranfer deadline be moved to earlier in the season. Especially if said player has played a game in that season. Personally, i think it should.

What if you move state / house?

Surely if your moving state you know this at least a month or two in advance....how many move state on short notice. Even in that case you could make the June rule apply if your 'current' club is from inter-state.

So if you moved to Perth you know who to play for two months in advance?

No...but if you know youre moving to Perth you would know not to play in SA if you were planning on playing over there. Either way you could easily make an exemption for players whose previous clubs are inter-state and they get the longer transfer deadline...simple done.

My point being is that players want to be paid like the pros but don't want the rules to be strict like in the pro competitions. Another case of players double dipping in wanting coin in the amatuer / country leagues but want transfer rules that aren't much more than what you see in you social indoor soccer comps. ;) 8)

The system is not broken therefore it doesn’t need fixing.

Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener and players need time to take everything into consideration, sometimes clubs need to cover key players getting injured.

It’s all swings and roundabouts, as long as all 3 parties are amicable then let it work itself out.

Most clubs would have allocated their money for players prior to season starting. They may have some still available, so is very interesting when players are on money at a club, then look elsewhere as the club they are at isn't performing

Couple things from the weekend.
1. I'm an exceptionally talented goal umpire.
2. Mitchell Park are a better unit that results in the opening 3 rounds show. Losing Halime early to an injury as well as missing some key troops this week hurt, but thought they looked pretty quick on the outside, and spread well. Tassell moves well for a big fella, and Cribb was handy enough, as well as Doherty x2. Depth will hurt them, but I daresay they'll play finals.

Genuinely surprised they lost to OSB.

Couple of things from the weekend also.

1) I disagree with your first point
2) I am exceptional on the BBQ
3) OSB are better than the results show too. They gave Para Hills a run for their money and were right in the game until the final quarter.

Ingle farm vs Para Hills this week Bedge. Should be a good game.

Games* plural - think all three matches on paper would appear to be well contested, and should setup for a good day overall.

Hopefully the weather holds off, and Weetra gives his body a rest this week. 8)

Lol. It's actually not. I was in fact talking about the A grade natch up. But we have some buzz in the B and C Grade too, was good to see some wins on the weekend to both.

Both clubs seem to have some excitement going into the weekend.

Bedge and OKC to umpire the C grade i heard

Both of you should be running the boundary and if the ball went out of bounces that would be the end of the quarter as it would take that long for you to get into position.

Ingle Farm V Para Hills 50/50, both sides looked ordinary on the weekend does the Bulldogs have anyone that can stop Weetra was successful against OSBs Rigney this is a different challenge I would have thought :D

I'm not looking for anything. I have seen yours and Bedge's fitness levels and the one who would be slower to get in position would be me. It's time up for me. BBQ and bar shuttle run from now on.

For me, Para Hills are just too one-dimensional and luck firepower at goals in comparison to Ingle Farm. If opposition successfully shut Weetra down, who are the players that stand up and kick the goals for Para Hills? Hay or Rowland? Keeping in mind, both have only kicked 4 goals each this season!!

For me, Ingle Farm make a statement, win by 35+ on their home deck. You can shut Rigney down, but Ingle Farm has 4+ more players that could stand up and flick the goal kicking switch on if required.

Your absolutely right Para Hills seem to go down one lane when it comes to kicking goals Weetra, ingle farm have plenty of goal kicking options but for me that match will be won an lost in the midfield

So your answer is that Para Hills midfield will kick the goals if Weetra is shut down? I apologise, I'm just trying to get an understanding.
