That close to a number i heard also. A few clubs were looking at him, i know we enquired but that is crazy coin for the SAAFL, good luck to him if he can get that kind of money though.

Some big bucks on offer for big Vessali and De Palma and an offer that would be hard to say no. De Palm will be able to get a foreskin reduction with his payments. Could trim a good foot off

News to me If Pead is a Lion!

Very good player, and a good bloke to boot - had a few Cracker games agaisnt us over the last two seasons!

AFAIK - only three players we have acquired are the Gates boys, and Adam Douglas coming out of retirement.

And Charlie Rae is returning. He is training at the Eagles, but will play at Bartley Terrace with SMOSH according to a very high ranking SMOSH official last Sunday arvo.

Huge pick-up and is a freak. Played league football last year and would walk into any D1 team. Terrific footballer. 6.4 and runs like hell and plays the key post at centre half forward. Any club would want him.

Horses mouth - AT Eagles in 2013 ....unless drafted/rookie listed to AFL. I'd say 3% chance to be A playing Lion next season. 100% likely to be a non round-buying social Lion.

Well Yardy i do believe i was present at the Sunday arvo chat. And not once was the words Charlie Rae mentioned as a recruit. did mention to you that is would be great to have him back but we fully support Charlie on his quest to make the League side at Eagles. As you were informed he is signed at Eagles and we have not had any contact in regards to him coming back to SMOSH. And Yardy i love ya movember look, filthy like a 80's porn star. well played
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

So what's the idea with Portland putting forward the motion of changing relegation/promotion to 1 team instead of 2? Only Portland could dream this stuff up
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Agreed. I know the reasons why, and they are absolutely and completely absurd IMO. No player or any coach would like the reasons at all. Leave it as two up and two down. That system has stood the test of time and should not be tampered with.
