I have a question to two clubs in particular - Gepps Cross and North Haven

How are your D-Grade numbers this season looking? I know its early days but can anyone shed some light. I know Gepps Cross had to fold half way through C6 last year and I think this is North Havens first attempt at a D-Grade.

Does anyone know if Mitcham have a C and D grade in Div 8! I cannot be bothered reading through all the other pages. Just curious that if they do I would imagine the D grade will struggle for numbers as they did last year and with greater depatures this season from players higher in the club they wont have the numbers. But will be interested to see if i am completly wrong as it gets closer to the year.

They will have a C grade no Probs. But as i said i would be surprised if a D grade will be able to play out a whole season without forfeiting to many games.

We will have both C & D grade sides in 2012. Coaches appointed and ready to go. Always a struggle to get blokes to fill that 4th side but it's better for the club to just scrape together a side than to tell 20-25 blokes they aren't getting a game. Plenty of new faces out on the track...

If this becomes an 8 team comp will they have no byes each week and settle on a final 4??

It was dumb a couple of years back in C4 when there was 2 teams with a bye each week, seemed a waste.

Happy to have the bye in the 9 team comp, good chance for a rest but having 4 during the season gets a bit much and can mess with momentum.

Uni's c1 and c3 teams have moved into div 8. I'd personally like to say hello to the grade and look forward to the year. I guess it's time to start organising some players then...
Believe that Unley perhaps should have moved to c1 unless Athelstone moved up.

Well finn if you guys keep your side from the last couple of years together you will romp home. There is talk that we are looking to try to get in Div8. Going to a 3 man bench is going to mean people are gonna miss out on a game. Not that we wouldn't want to go to Div 7 but at least 8 blokes miss out on a game each week. The reason we started a D grade was so more people get a kick each week. Would be good to front up against you lads again :D

Will be a very different side - with some going up, some going down, some retiring, some long term injured and some moved away so I don't actually know what it will look like.

Stay in div 7....please :)
Or get another side and enter c3...
