You harsh man lutz :D Yes districts were undermanned but this is the Ovies thread, well done

very harsh. Out of interest, we were missing our best CHB, first choice FF, most exciting HFF/FP we have that'll change with me on te ball, plus at least 3-4 blokes who would push for our best 18. THEN we have 4-5 new recruits that we haven't seen but have played with the army lads and Scoota (dvc) has good things to say about their ability... Add to that the lads that have never played the game before, I think we've had 5 of them so far. They'll only get better and more confident.

Still plenty of upside at the Cattery.

Also, DW... We could do with a crafty forward pocket if you know of one... ;-)

sounds like you may have enough for two teams soon ;)

Looking forward to heading out to Campbelltown Oval to take on Rostrevor this weekend. Definately an oval that I enjoy playing on more so then the smaller grounds.

speak for yourself big boy! Gimme Cane reserve anyday in the midfield!

After my last quarter effort last week maybe Daz will play me as a permanent half forward flank... ;-)

Was a pretty awsome last quarter NG. Maybe a little more time in the forward line would be good. Looking forward to watching Wrighty absolutely rip it up at Campbelltown too. I guess not being an overly tall forward is why Ive always loved the bigger grounds as it makes it harder to congest for the backmen. Anyhow Go Cats Im sure that Rostrevor will be a tough unit but hopefully we can have another good game.

As much as i enjoy small grounds, i think i prefer the bigger ovals, more room to move, easy to create more space.
Cane res last week i thought it just got too congested and crowded, and the ball just bounced from one end to the other, was hardly a need for a centre square lol :P

we'll just see after this week... Campbelltown oval is pretty hefty so our midfield will have to run prob double what we do at home... Fitness will definately be tested...

Unfortunately we have nothing to guage ROCS on after the bye in Rd 1 so we'll just wait and see...

Onwards and upwards for the Cats! Get on!

Yep. Roger was out there tonight. Also a few new faces. Still have Adrian Warrior and a few more top quality players to come in. So everything is going nicely at the moment.

Dee Man was wondering which of your players is Lutz? How does he go? Does his talent match his quality trash talk?
