Look forward to re-igninting the famous rivalry between Kilburn and us Tigers. I belive they still hold the Carol Martin cup which we haven't played for for about 4 years or so. Time to get it back.

Who's ur mate at Scotch? You're the last person I would have thought to back up a COLLEGE side...

Seldom right and wrong again Shirtfront.

It's the Trish Worth Cup and we last played for it in a trial match in 2004 and it presently sits in our Trophy Cabinet when you walk past the bar

Be good to play the Chics again after 5 years and renew the rivalry

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Well played kilburn - a true proud club not wanting to be in lower Divisions - hopefully their courage is rewarded and they can stay up

Should be interesting game when they play against Eastern Park with the defection of a few big headed players - they may wish they stayed now

It's almost a quasi Div 1 comp with Uni, Broadview, PHOS, Kilburn all competing in AND winning Div 1 GF's in the last 10 years. Oh how the mighty have fallen  Throw in Seaton and Athelstone who have had stints up there as well.

Congratulations to Kilburn, just hope they haven't bitten off more than they can chew - on and off the field.

Has there ever been that many high profile clubs in div 2, in recent history anyway?? Kilburn, Broadview, Seaton, PHOS, Flinders Park, Adelaide Uni are all traditional SAAFL powerhouse clubs. PNU, Eastern Park, Pembroke and Athelstone are no small clubs either. Looks to be a cracker of a year in div 2.

Tigers you have a fair bit to say about Kilburn, money etc
Perhaps you hold grudges from A1 days ??????
And it must be tongue in cheek surely, seeing your involvement in some clubs who threw money around
and still do, bit different now with the club you are with.

Some of those clubs are running out of power unfortunately and some may never experience it again or even for the first time.

Shads and Co then approached Kilburn who finished 3rd in Divy 3 last year to come up and take the vacant spot and they declined, Then they trooped off to Walkerville who have also declined to go - Story has it that Para Hills who finished 5th last year in Divy 3 will be the next asked on Monday.

Could have either Portland or Mitcham who have just come up from Divy 4 playing Div 2 at this rate.

What a shambles. Scotch have to be told they have to stay where they are and cant go back or Kilburn have to be told to come up. This is turning into a bloody raffle.

Might even have Kenilworth or Central United or Ovingham, getting a gig in Div 2 at this rate.

This is a true story with no one in Tynte Street knowing who the 10th team will be in Divy 2 this year because no one wants to be there.

Kilburn are soft cocks!!

There - Ive fixed it for you

.. guess you were wrong ;)

Good luck to Kilburn this year! Great to see such a proud club getting back up to where it should be.

Totally agree. wd Kilburn.

Unfortunately, IIRC, FC red carded both Just Nobody and Hamstring, so they cant come on here to face the music

Talked to a few blokes today at Norwood - word is Kilburn went up to maintain their reputation as a top club, but they have no where near the cattle to compete. Still some dissention in the club from the footy side but they had to do it.

Big jump - they just hope to be competitive with what they've got
