BL will have a good year if they have signed those players as well as a few more whispered to be in discussion as we are speaking.

?????? WHAT?????? why would EP get rid of a coach that took them up a grade to DIV 2 and pick a DIV 6 coach from a team that got relegated down a grade to DIV 7??????? What was Eastern Park thinking?

Oh well good pick up for BL i guess.

i think most of us have asked the same question. but i guess the only ppl who know are the 5 that did the interviews.

Demongirl Why dont you ask the people who did the interview? They will tell you his presentation was outstanding and if the club needed to go forward the right move was made. There are plenty of ruckman around. There are now 3 clubs from Gepps X to Gawler now in Div 1 or 2. Any decent footballer who had a brain in their head should be banging on their door right now.

well i didnt ask ok! if thats who they picked obviously he is the better person for the job and thats all i care about. im not really interested in anything else that went down in the interview...

'iwasthere84', try 5 clubs from GX to Gawler [ if you take Grand Junc Rd as GX [[yes GX is just south of GJ Rd]] ] 4 are in D1 and EP in D2. there may be plenty of ruckmen around but only a handful can play at that level and most if not all would have been signed by now. as for any "decent footballer with a brain" most would look at what is happening at EP and give it a miss

"Iwasthere" Firstly, were you in the interviews?? If not, how do you know if the right decision was or was not made?

any truth in ashby heading to the lodge??
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

BH no one at this point knows whether the right decision was made. We will all sit on the fence till Rd 9 I suppose.Like most of us, everyone knows someone and someone was in the interviews. And apart from SNth and Gepps X who are the others out North. Surely TTG and Mod dont count as Nth Suburbs

I've been happy with the commitment shown by the boys so far but it is only November, the key will be to maintain it and take it into 2009....Recruiting is always a work in progress, we've spoken to a few blokes but time will tell.

Retired B Grade Full Forward and former Houghton Boy Dean Troughton as been named B Grade Coach for 2009.

What happened to Crusty, was the gig a bit tougher than he thought?

What about big Glen Troughton, surely he's not still running around too?
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?
