His a fantastic guy (as is his runner who's name escapes me ATM) who both are doing everything they can to take IF in the right directaion and they were let down BIG time in the second half.
Some huge undisciplined acts at really important times to turn the game Central Uniteds way. It must be said that in reply CU also had a couple do some stupid things but i just really felt for the coaching staff as i believe they are on the right track with IF but just a couple of bad eggs (No need to name names) could unfourtinatly bring it all undone. I sincerly hope not for Knowlesy sake as i said i now have a greater respect for the man.
I think they will get that first up win soon and i wish them all the best.
Thanks Carey, you are dead right, talked to a spectator yesterday who said the first 1/2 was some of the best div 6 footy he had seen for a while, especially from IF, then we fell into the old trap of loosing the plot when things got heated and credit to your boys, they used it and thrived on it and crucified us in the 2nd half. Shows we still have a way to go, and trust me none of the coaching staff ever thought it would be a quick fix but we have made huge in roads and on Saturday we took 3 or 4 steps back. Showed us a bit about a few guys and i will be very keen to see how they respond this week. With 80 guys on our list this year and some young lads playing good B and C grade footy, they will want to make amends quickly.........As for Knowlesy, great bloke and doing a fantastic job, brought a whole new attitude and direction to IF and i hope the club backs this guy cause i'm sure success will come.
