That helps, especially with getting four senior sides up and running and allowing 40-year olds like yourself to play lower Divisions. Our 40-year olds still have to suit up for A and B Grade ;)

Is the A-Grade playing C-Grades ever gonna be fixed??

50 agrade sides div 1 to div 5
8 agrade sides div 6 (excluding uni)
6 agrade sides in div 7

TOTAL = 64 A-grades sides in SAAFL

Div 1 = 10 sides
Div 2 = 9 sides
Div 3 = 9 sides
Div 4 = 9 sides
Div 5 = 9 sides
Div 6 = 9 sides
Div 7 = 9 sides

(The bye has proven to be a nice rest for sides in div 6)

C-Grades side to play in Div 8
Adelaide Uni (C-Grade)
SHOC,
Flinders Park
Henley
Broadview
SMOSH,
Modbury
Golden Grove
Prince Alfred OC
Salisbury

other sides to go down below div 8...
North Haven, ovingham, port districts, TTG or Adelaide Uni EGrade from

Very ordinary yesterday, N Lynch, wouldn't you say Marbles. Loved the 5 bounces from back pocket to set up a goal. Glad you didn't rate him enough to put anyone on him, or did it just look like no-one was on him. Loved the wave to your coaches box in the first 1/4 too. ;)

Thanks to all the Henley boys that come upstairs for a beer after the game on Saturday. Even though it was a tough day for you guys, it showed true character for you to come up and spend some time in our club rooms. I wish you all the best for the year =D>

What was most sad is having me mates paying to play a game of footy on satday arvo and being demolished by a team that is being paid to play. Different accounts obviously but we paid them to pump us.

Haven't c grade sides always had a good record in this div? A c grade side has made the last 4 grand finals winning 3 of them I reckon. Or is this only a problem when your not winning marbles?

No whinging here champ, just highlighting a pure injustice on fringe players who just want a kick and a catch on weekends and are being forced to play semi professional footballers cos the league or someone is too chicken to say let the cgrade play the cgrades only

Can't you nominate your team in Div8 which is solely a 'C' grade comp?? Modbury came down into Div8 after struggling in Div7 against 'A' grade teams.

Well probably, id encourage every cgrade side in div 7 to nominate for div 8 but as if it will be allowd and we'll all hav to stay in div 7 and sacrafice every second saturday and give agrade side a little handicap win just to keep their club afloat

Having a good Monday Marbles......Sorry for us little old div 7 clubs getting in the way of your C & D grade boys club competition. If we had so much money to throw around, then why are we in div 7........Way to sound all high and mighty down at Henle :prayer: y.
