Our injury list was that ridiculous at any given time that we were averaging 6 changes a week in the A grade. At one point, the average age of our back 6 was about 18.5 years of age. Terrific effort from the kids given the opportunity by Stevo.

Pep got dropped for a number of reasons. None of which is anyones busines. Both HV and Heccies A grade were in relegation battles right up to the last few rounds so stacking the B grade was never really an option. Staying in Div 4 was our first priority, as no doubt it was Hectorvilles

Big ruckman #25 for SW got injured didn't look great. He was punching the ground after he got hurt (knee or ankle)and he dragged himself over the boundary line. Was helped back to the dugout. He may have come back on but would be in doubt for next week.
On another injury I believe a player from Plympton was in hospital sat night from swelling in the lower region. Hope the fella is ok didn't look pretty :)

What a great day at the kennel yesterday. Been at the club for a very long time and that was the biggest and best day down there I can remember... Lets hope the c's get up next week and make it a triple header in a fortnight.. Go you dogs

Unfortunately our season has come to an abrupt end. Congrats to Brahma Lodge on the victory. They used the ball a helluva lot better than we did going forward and number 6 & 9 for them cut us apart, inparticular 9 who would've had 30+ possies for the game. Kudos to BL for sticking around after the game and having some froths back in the club.

In saying that I think it will be a Plymptom v Salisbury West GF with Salisbury West winning the flag.

Well done to Brahma Lodge on Saturday. Totally outplayed us and deserved the win. They had too many winners over the ground, used the ball well and punished our errors every time. Their pressure forced our disposals to be very average and they definitely exposed our lack of pace. No excuses from us. We just look to next year now I guess. The remaining games now will be very interesting. I haven't seen Plympton this year but what I saw of Salisbury West last week I think them and Brahma Lodge play a very similar, fast-paced game so that should be worth watching at some stage

Writing has been on the wall for the grove for possibly 3-4 weeks prior to saturday, didnt perform at the correct end of the year. a good team no doubt and will be back next year steonger no doubt! unlucky lads enjoy ya off season. Big game this week, too very similar sides, salisbury west isnt a huge oval so thatl help the lodge, i think if the lodge can stop the spread of westies they are a huge chance to send payne off with a gf berth which coming from div 5 would b huge, peeking at the right time, too tough to call for me, if silva can get free westies will win! He holds the key! Im sitting on the fence and going to watch a very hard game on saturday! Goodluck to both teams

Don't know about unlucky unfortunately. Injuries to Stent, Ravlich, Morris, Oliver, Sheppard, Chenoweth and McCarthy overseas certainly didn't help us the last month but it was still 22 against 22 and we weren't good enough. I agree though, it'll be a cracking game and good to watch as a fence sitter with no allegiance

Will the reserves game this week be at Harpers or will it be with the A's??? Only reason i ask is because Hope Valley had a home final, so just wondering if GG will do the same

just praying for good weather all week so oval is in decent condition,

I know your oval isn't great, but I don't think any oval would've been last sat

Depends, if the C grade are still in you might be able to snag a home final. Don't know if you don't ask!
