Would that have anything to do with a chip on someone's shoulder?

Seriosuly don't know too much. Haven't been in contact with them for a while.

Hoping to train with either them or Elizabeth in the next month, so I might find out some other stuff.

However, Scott Matthews was a Power listed player who's played there previously this season.

The former Collingwood player would be one of the Whiston boys, Dean or Scott, I can't remember which one of them was on the Pies list. But they were very good athletes and both went to Trinity (about two years below me) and I played first 18 with them. One of them spent some time in Melbourne, but I don't think ever looked like getting a game. Didn't return and play for Centrals either.

The other Collingwood contact would be Benny Kinnear, but I seriously doubt it would be him.

Yeah i'm pretty sure it is one of the Whiston boys, I've never heard of them....when was one of them at Collingwood?

Scott Whiston was drafted at 86 by Collingwood with the very last pick of 1997.

He was drafted in the same year as fellow Trinity products Ben Kinnear (56 - Collingwood) and Ben Walton (16 - St Kilda).

All three were Gawler kids.

You can include Matt Slade as well, Centrals' current co-captain.

Salisbury's Darren Nenke was All Australian at junior level and Trinity's school captain in 1989. Very talented Port junior - potential career ended because of a knee injury before he was out of his teens.

Steven Eichner at Port is also a former Trinity boy.

So is Dogwatcher ;)

Wingfield v CLG should be a cracker , reckon the CLG boys might be in for a bit of a culture shock down at Ottoway reserve this weekend.

Kaurna Eagles are still alive, we had a meeting with league the other day and everything is good. We have a good committee who are committed to the club now just need to convince the players to train and play. Hopefully that will be worked out this week also

Not writing ourselves off, just saying maybe Kaurna would rather play against us this week when they have a chance of winning rather than play you guys last week and knowing they wouldve lost.
