The Garner lad has copped 7 games this season alone, would he be nearing the 12(?) games in total where you get banned from SAAFL?

I thought after the 5 he got earlier in the season that left him 1 game off a ban?

I think he even traveled to Nairne one night to watch another team in this comp in a trial game and let a player in particular know what he thought of him all game!

Amazing isn't it how so called 'gun' players just walk in to a club because their mates play there or they live down the street. A bag of lollies to go 1 km or 300 plus to go 5 km. You need to love someone big time to pick the lols, especially at this level. Zed knows how it works and the 'OIL WELL' is in full action there.

I find it amazing that every time a club picks up a good footballer everyone thinks he must be getting paid. Isn't he allowed to play with blokes who he gets along with? So when your beloved Mitchell park pick up a gun new recruit they throwing the big bucks around?

Sometimes my wierd sense of humour gets lost in the thick of things piglet. What 'gun' player would go to MP for nothing, they will have enough trouble keeping the ones they have. I don't have an issue with good players getting a few bucks to play. Good clubs who raise hard earned all have footy budgets and some of that should always go to good recruiting. :)
agree though yankman buts its all about the $$ these days...you would have a couple that are loyal that been at 1 club all there life and play for nothing but thats a rarerity these days...

Rosewater by 8-9 goals or so. An 8 goal to 1 second quarter blew it open for Rosie's but apart from that the rest of the game was fought out pretty evenly, having said that if rosewater kicked a bit straighter it could've been worse for MP

That's probably the real indication of a Div 5 side coming back and Div 7 team coming up. At least they are competitve and just need to play 4 quarters. Nothing said so far about Lockley's win over CLG. Really tight comp and you need your best on the park each week and switched on. ;)

just 2 hours of slogging it out yankman..only 3 points in it at 3/4 time..we could have stolen it at the end but blew some opportunities amongst an enormous burst of rain thunder and lightning..the demons deserved the win however and were a very tough opponent who got their noses in front early and wouldnt give it up all day..Flanigan was very good and is a class act..we move onto the next game..
