Coming down to support the magic man Mounty this weekend Old Farmer?

Yes we are Haynzy, definately supporting TTG for Mounty and the Noske's and because we at Ingle Farm love Mitchell Park so much  . Hope Mounty gets a kick, pulled out of our masters team yesterday because of this bloody grand final, not good for MP though if he is only playing 1 game a weekend to prepare. Hopefully see a couple of trademark don't argues from him.... Seriously though, hope the weathers good and you 2 teams turn on a cracker like you did in the semi. Good luck to both teams. :partyman:

Hahaha, yes there appears to be 'no love lost' between our clubs old farmer. All new to me and I guess it goes way back but that's cool, Mounty could play every day this week, end up on one leg and leave the pub at 6am saturday and still play well. What a legend, even I love him. ^:)^

Yes definately one of our old rivalries along with Golden Grove. Had a laugh with an old team mate on the weekend, said he went and watched the semi at MP and as soon as he walked in the club to get a drink he reckons someone behind the bar recognised him, pointed out the 2002 flag and told him he kicked 9 on him that day. i reckon he would have kicked half of them on me but i'll let Moon take the lot......Who knows you might have another flag to point out after this week ;)

Lol  yes well played. My head pic does get in all matters of strife it would appear. Not bad considering i had to work on Mad Monday and didnt have a drop. I,ll be dressed in league attire EM covering the first half for GrassRoots hoping "Big Nata" can bag his ton and i can run on and give the big fella a hug ;)

Yeah but its worse as a supporter I reckon. Never got nervous as a player as I figured I could use that energy to impact the result. What do you do as a supporter? Yell louder? I know every bit of support helps but I get much more skittish watching than I do playing.

Please don't! At the end of the game he will be more than happy to give you (and anyone) a hug if we win but I reckon if you ran on and the game was still in motion you would likely get a punch rather than a hug back, as is Nat's intensity when he crosses the line.

We also don't want a repeat of the 2004 Preliminary Final between St Kilda and Port. St Kilda fans pretty much lost them that game!

Wow... we're going back in time there.....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Yes Choccies, Early 2000's. Played lot of games and finals against MP and GG in those days. The GG rivalary also stems from the people who left our club to form the first GG committee back in the 90's. Thats why i'm called OLD Farmer.
