Gees, would've been handy if Pembroke got over the line for us!

Comprehensive win for us. Poor old Para Hills sound like they've had the season from hell - so many players unavailable, then injuries to Flynn and Thach early on really didn't help.

Our Umpires were far and away the best We've had all year - the young girl in particular was fantastic.

A few massive games this week - Seaton vs mitcham, and Us vs Seaton!

Um seaton will be busy next week playing mitcham and us. hopefully they play mitcham first and get the stuffing knocked out of them.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Biggest game of the year this week for GG. Lose to Pembroke and it is Div 4 for us next year. Get over the line we keep our faint hopes alive...then the following week will be another "Grand Final" for us against CBC.......*prays to Jebus*

7 of the cheapest, luckiest goals You've ever seen.

And yes Portland vs Mitcham. Although if Seaton wanted to play a trial against Mitcham in the morning, that would be ok with us.

No such thing mate....its like someone saying that was a crap 100 - it will only be known in the annals of history as a 100, not a crap 100,- 7 goals - not 7 cheap ones...

Div 4 post is suggesting Hodges is coaching Greenacres next year. Any truth to this NM? You know him well.

probably the only one I'd Fault - not sure how much of the season hes spent down back - was still up fwd halfway through the year? Maybe that Coghill (sp.) bloke from Pooraka? Tucker from Mitcham would be close too.

Brad Finney would be in there if he didnt' get injured. Superstar.

yea i just based it on when we played against teams, Patruno played back both times and dominated the game and his opponent, i named Coghill at CHB

Can anyone from Para Hills find out some info??
Heard that S Beer will play his last game @ Para Hills oval this week, will it be A's Or more likely B's??
Hope that a few get down to see him off.. 300+ games good effort.. Spoke to 1 of his good mates last weekend & was told even though everyone thinks he's finished with the back problems he has ( bulged disc & getting needles to play) he might go around again? To help out the club

First off i have to say we had some good umpiring on the weekend (CBC v Mitcham) the strawberry blonde with no eyebrows did a great job. Gave away a pretty soft red card but in saying that was a silly late hit by the Mitcham bloke. Doesnt deserve games. Before the game was started we had the match day official run out and ask the umps what was going on as we were running 5 mins late and the ump said he was waiting for the players. So the match day official had to yell out to his team to get in position. Apparently its the players responsibility to know when to get into position. The umps wont be calling the players to get into position. Also we had the umps doing the centre square ball ups outside the circle. They decided it was too mundy. Every ball up the position would change, a lot of the time to even worse off positions than the designated centre circle.
It takes real courage to wear PURPLE!!!!!

Mitcham Portland this week should be a ripper. It could be a big contest as i think the winner of this game will win the flag. Think Flinders Park and Smosh play a similiar style of footy that may be vulnerable come finals, compared to the hard at it, even team style that M and P play. Have only seen all four sides a couple times this year, but see what happens.......
