Work for mining company somewhere, your club & coach would be happy with that after his solid performance against you blokes last time.

Hmm not so sure - at this point of ther season you want to test yourself agaisnt the best. I'm not sure our coach is one to be happy when opposition players are out and certainly doesn't strike me as the kind of bloke who runs away from a challenge.
He is a horrible dancer though.

QUICK PLUG: Important day for us on saturday with a "call to arms" taking place:

http://sa.cancercouncilfundraising.org. ... nID=350711

Players and supporters alike will be asked for gold coin donations and players wearing yellow armbands in recognition of the day. For the hungry punter, there's also a cake stand on the go during the A Grade! Might not raise thousands, but everything counts.

Cheers

Which club ???
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Absolutely sensational win by the boys!!!!!
They really came to play on the weekend. The boys came out switched on from the start and put it on the scoreboard early and we lead by 4 goals at quarter time. from there on Pooraka slowly clawed their way back into the game.
We lead by 2 goals at halftime and were to down to 1 on the bench for majority of the second half. Maintaned the lead at quarter time and I must admit it was very nervous watching the last quarter as the lead changed 9-10 times.
The last 5 or so minutes would have produced 4-5 goals with both teams unable to kick 2 goals in a row and a Timmy Chenoweth mark and goal sealed the game for us. Thought Thachy and Flynny were sensational for us all game and were head and shoulders the best 2 on the ground, very happy with Timmy Chenoweths game at full forward, his ability to play forward or back is a massive bonus and on the weekend showed his value as a forward bagging 4 goals. Look forward to this weeks clash as we continue to fight to stay clear from the dreaded relegation zone

It was actually the best mark i have seen in the amateur league. He sat on the ruckmans shoulders and took it above his head clean as a whistle. He lost points because 1, he landed on his feet and 2, because he didnt lap it up by playing on straight away ;)
I dont think Thachy or anyone from Para Hills could possibly win the medal.
We havnt won enough games and we have suffered some heavy losses throughout the year.
Think Thach and Goodwin will poll well but wont have enough votes IMO.
In saying that Thachy would have polled 6 votes from the last 2 games so you never know.

Went to the Portland game. They were very ordinary most of game. Trailed til probably half way thru the last quarter(down by about 5 goal at 3/4 time). Worst umpiring i have seen all year, didnt favour either team. The umpires were ridiculous on getting the man on the mark to come back behind it, gave away about ten 25m penalties. The older bloke with 70's mo and hair has been a crap umpire for years, thinks the game is all about him.
Portland lucky to get away with the points in the end.
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

im not a huge umpire basher but gee wizz the bloke in question is the worst i have seen in a long time 25m penalties just way over the top, something has to happen about the trees hanging over the ground 2 caused huge confusion twice on saturday when the ball hit it and came back in to play(2 different decission were made), credit to pembroke, i think there a good side the break lines well with there chain hanball and Evan up forward doesnt miss. we showed what we are capable of in the last quarter coming from about 6 goals down to win by 7 points
