Well Karma has come to bite you in the backside again. No A grade flag in over 20 years and only a plaque to the players that lost the D2 GF in 1999.
May I suggest that you learn what it takes to be a successful D1 club and that money does not get you any where in D1 its hard work and a club first ethic.

Spot on! Salisbury North are the new chokers of Div 1 footy, to finish 2nd and lost both their finals! a team full of prima donnas, with the king of them all Shane Jordan, as akermanis would say, shane has the IQ of a plant!!

not sure how you can say they are the chokers of div 1. its not as though their team was that fantastic that they underperformed by finishing 4th. they lost a few players from last year, and picked up very little. with no real ruckman in their side, they were always gonna struggle against the better sides.
and as for other coments, have they really paid that much $$ for players this year? I'd be very suprised if this year they have paid what they were alleged to have paid in previous years.

Spot on BOP. At the start of the year EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE was predicting a Henley v Goodwood Saints Grand Final. Nobody could see who would challenge them seriously. Ask yourself the question? would you have picked Sacred Heart OC or any other side for that matter to challenge either Henley or Goodwood Saints.

I know many Club officials and people from high up in a variety of Clubs who did not expect this to happen either and were realistic about their chances. So please give Salisbury North and every other Club who does not play off in the Grand Final a break.

Although no club Coach or Coaching staff would admit it, you have to be a realist in this game as well and to think any other Club or Team had the talent to beat Henley or Goodwood, then you should be locked up in padded cell.

I suppose finishing 2nd losing 2 home finals, not having won an A grade flag nor B grade for that matter in the Amateur league in the past 20 odd years with the money that gets thrown around there, doesn't warrant a choker label

The only reason Shane Jordans name should ever be mentioned on this forum is when you are going to say he is the best player in the amatuer league and i will be very surprised not to see him collect the div 1 medal.

Haven't we already answered this question? I'm fairly sure it was said there will be an official announcement once said coach finishes the season with his current club.

*YAWN*

Do you mind if we change this record? It seems to be broken.

All div 1 clubs pay. You can't survive in div 1 without forking out cash.

So I really don't know why people carry on about it

I'm with you Quichey I thought this was old news? After speaking to a Gepps person on the weekend it is confirmed and will be announced soon.
