Cannot wait to put all this Brahma Lodge talk to bed when we hand them a demorilising reality-check in round 1.
Bring on rd 1, and stop all this cr*p that's being dished up about BL. You'd think there's no other team in div 6. If you boys think your in for an easy win on Glenunga's home-turf then you have another think coming.
We're ticking along nicely.

What the general thought on this club and group?

Trainings certainly seem to be hitting their straps at the right time, as they should.
We aare lacking height, but the fitness of the lads has improved tenfold from last year. Unlike last year, where we ran out of legs in the 2nd half, it'll be a different story in '09.

Seen one guy that was a real stand out but was not wearing a traing jumper like the rest of the group jimmy any reason for that?
Another big concern for the club that seems to be trying to rebuild with little to no funds would be Thompson who went in half way through the session with a driver issue.

Why is it teams are saying they have standouts at trainings, I mean if you do the rest of your squad must be pretty ordinary, would've thought with all these recruits flying around the whole team would've stood out. Now BL adding they have another new recruit in a black striped shirt. Is there any of last years players down there at all??? Sometimes the best trainers can't play game time!

I think this is someone else saying that they saw someone they didnt recognise at training. I honestly think its just someone having a bit of a stir of the pot to get a reaction. The player they are refering to has already trained a few times anyway.

There are plenty of people out at training that stand out, some for one session and others who stand out more consistantly.

Some of the guys looking good are actually players from last year who have really opened up with a bunch of new guys around them. Other players from last year who at this point are looking alot better and trying alot harder then last year perhaps because of the extra competition for positions within the side?

Thats fair enough may have read it out of context then. But not so sure about the glenunga 1. Have heard about 1 of there recruits they have been talking up, he may be a ok player in this comp, but will be no gun. As for S.Fox from Glenunga I see he has been cleared to Goolwa on March 23.

Im thinking if he has been cleared to Goolwa 4 days ago as per the above post chances are that he will not be playing for Glenunga in round 1 atleast.

if you have good numbers on the track, why is the club asking for players to play in the internal. I would have thought that you would have enough to make 2 teams from the track numbers.

Sorry he has been cleared from Goolwa to Victor. Go on the GSFL website or read GSFL Movements page 479 1/2 way down ( A Mums post) a copy of the transers for GSFL. Then the comment below was:

R. Fox is still overseas I believe and may not be back this season? Good to see the saga over, I'm sure Victor would be happy to have a 0 point player such as Shane there - could be classed as a replacement for L. Bell?

But either way I cant see him lining up for Glenunga
