my short time at the den Nat and his brother were very welcoming and had one of the funnier nights i've ever had a shenannigans (can't spell it) cause of them. I met some great people there and those brothers certainly stand out, also so does Joey, the weekly's and wal. Good club and i very much enjoyed my year there...
congratulations Nat and goodluck for the rest of the year

Now quit ruining our Nat tribute thread.
But I agree RE our juniors. Absolutely amazing to see. My girlfriend and I went to watch them at Kenilworth on a Saturday night and we were both blown away. One of the main volunteers there is Mark "Sambo" Sansome but there are plenty of others. The parents, coordinators and coaches are doing a great job.
If we can keep the momentum and keep investing in the juniors, hopefully the success will come further up in the future.

Well you made it a Nat (whoever that is) tribute thread, Yankman thought it was more fitting that it become a Nat and Yankman tribute thread.
It's not so much Sambo, he has always been there, it's just there are finally people to help him.

Looks like 6 wins could get you relegated or into the 5 by season end. Rosewater, CLG and then a raffle going on results from recent weeks where even WOS have dropped 2 against lower teams.
We have a tough fortnight with Rosewater then CLG.
made more difficult with no mark garner for 1 or 2 weeks

There was always people to help him Jetters, have you actually considered that the reason people are coming to the Den is because they are now a successful club and walk in the front door and go WOW, what a fantastic footy club, I want to be here. Some of yours have and I guess that's an issue with you, but they can't believe what MP has to offer. Best deck in the league, best people in the district and the hardest workers in footy. Why wouldn't you want to be there.AND everyone loves the underdog.

No there weren't, certainly not adequate.
Yeah, Mitchell Park have advantages like clubrooms and a deck nearly all SAAFL clubs would be envious of, yet you still play this ridiculous 'underdog' card.
Aren't you guys bottom of the ladder again?
