The records not bad when they don't have the double chance the first 2 of the 5 were from 5th and 4th.

Their record is even better with the last 3 coming from 2nd, 1st and 1st on the ladder respectively.

Apparently, they have a pretty handy record in Grand finals over the past 5 years.

Well it was a very disappointing day at S/North :( on Saturday 0-3 on a great day weather
wise to play footy Gepps had a little more polish when the game was on the line in the C Grade
Henley were very classy and had alot more run in the B Grade
In the A grade where do I start Goodies where just Goodies i think it might be a good idea
to not get to many goals up it seems to upset them and they unleash their fury
Illman was the differance he just killed us and until the Hawks get a quality ruck man
i dont think the will beat the other 2 sides when it really matters
I must say Sean Maher No8 as it has been said on here was outstanding for the Hawks
But i think the coach did get out coached by Trent Mills and was reacting
to moves made by him IMO
On a brighter note i think all 3 teams are home again this weekend so hopefully we can
turn that 0-3 into 3-0
Good to see Chris Motley at the game talking to the A grade boys before the game

Who does everyone like for Henley v Goodwood this wknd? Does anyone have a forecast of the weather? Henley had a huge training session sat morning to make sure they're prepared for the game. Last year they felt as if they didn't start well enough and took too long to get used to the intensity lift in all finals. Expect to see them come out and put the heat on Goodwood early this time round.

Will be a good game at Sal Nth this saturday. SHOC jumped Broadies by 4/5 goals on saturday before Broadies pegged it back to a few points in the last before big Craig Taz kicked a couple of clinches in the last

Haven't had a chance to say since this game. Broadies let SHOC do as they pleased in the first 20min or so, mind you the forward line didn't drop a mark! Pretty even after that until the last 1/4 when we came home but i reckon they had spent too much petrol to get back into the game. SHOC deservedly won the game, although i think they could feel the heat in the last 1/4. Very proud of what i saw this year being a long time supporter. Some good kids, experience blokes showing the way and a good feeling around the club. Great effort to make finals in first year back to Div 1.
I hear Daryl Wintle to coach next year too, pity to see Leal leave but having someone like Wintle back at the club over the past couple years is great for the club and Amatuer Footy too. Now for some cricket on the tube, some summer weather, more beer and Bring on 2011.
PS, Goodwood to win 6 in a row.

Would not be surprised to see a Goodwood v SHOC grand final. Might end up being way off the mark but hey just as possible as anything else in finals footy.

Yes you are way off the mark. Henley WILL make the GF and its more than likely SHOC will exit the finals this Saturday faster than a Floreani Brothers' toupe. GF will be the same as 09 but with Henley to break the streak.

Henley 4.5 to Goodwood 0.0 at quarter time kicking with a cyclone

Henley 4.5 to Goodwood 0.0 at half time after Goodwood kicked with the wind. Great quarter of wet weather football from Henley and game over.

How long would it have been for Goodwood not to have scored at half time
