Based on us having never played TTG when they're at full strength and the form line. We lost to Henley not 3 weeks ago, they just pumped Henley.

They were close to 6 goals up on their home deck against us and ran out of gas, I don't think that will happen again. In the return leg they were decimated and we only just got over the line.

Haven't played them yet with Chambers, Vansoest or Mann in the line up. There is 5-10 goals right there.

Maybe not favourites but it would be $1.90 a piece.

Don't want to know your business BPwizard but who goes to Luke and Nat for you guys. Rossack gets Nat I think and who goes to Luke, is it Early? Whoever they are they have done a great job and I have been asked to help with the "Team of the Year" and love some input. marbles, Bigshow82 and Haynzy have had some input so anything you have will help the selection panel to get it as close as it should be. I'm sure they scan this forum so if anyone else has a view then now is your opportunity.

Hope so zed, look forward to seeing you. Morrell is right though, TTG should be favourites, because the team they now have is not the team we struggled to beat by 21 and 23 points in the minor round. Not to mention we havn't had a "real" hitout for 3 weeks since we lost to Henley.

Sorry have not got back to you about input into team of the year. Yes Pete Early has gone to either Nat or Luke when we have played you guys. Rossack and Early Have been good against you guys and kept the two guys down to only a couple of goals each.
Other players i would say who could fit into team of the year would be Dave Creek on half forward, strong skillfull and very rarely is beaten and under 6ft tall plays CHF most games for us. Other is Swedeson Hanuman very skillfull quick and hard player never gives up and beats the bigger players with his defensive work. Swedeson and Early and Creek would be Favourites for our B&F.

Other Players I rate in DIV 7
Nth Pines - Sticky, Mackereth, Reggie Wangeen, Steven Marks
Henley - Fairclough, Dempsey, Wilson and there CHF is that Z Bellingham
TTG - Mount, Noske, Dow, mann, Roughton and the backmen who played on Our full forward at Two wells was a gun that day.
MP - Luke, Nat, Harrison, Mazey, Sarge, Potuszynski, Dasihy (if spelling is correct)
Smithfield - Lane, There fullback do not know his name
Flinders Park - D Gough if correct good backmen

Just players we have seen but these a few that stick in my head.

A bit shocked by the names I was told polled the most from us for the medal. Todd Mackereth (not a big shock), Steven Hartwell and Daniel Karpany. Very shocked not to see Chris Stephens in that list.

No their CHF is Dave Loveder who is an absolute star. Bellingham plays off half back or midfield.

Phht err yanks u might wanna study up on some of these names and compare how many times each player was consistently named in best players every week

The side above looks more like a forum dream team based on quick pub talk by general posters. Let the data construct ur team not old boy guess-timates

On sporting pulse u can click each player name and see how many times the player made best players out of his total matches played

Else u could miss some massive performers, and some u name could fall over laughing as they only made best 3 or 4 times and u just chucked him in cos some joker from gawler tried to think hard for 5 minutes and spilled out as many as he could in 20 seconds

For instance count for me games wilson & loveder played for henley and how many games they made best. Whats the ratio? Now compare it to tom pearce ratio. Infact for each player u name give us their ratio

data mining of henley's performers

RATIO = Best Player Count / Games Played (How many were 1st, 2nd or 3rds)

9/12 (4) - Fairclough (Ruckrover)
8/12 (7) - Bennetts (Ruck)
8/18 (5) - Dempsey (centre/bp)
7/17 (7) - Bellingham (back flank)
7/18 (6) - Pearce (rover) +27 goals
-----------------------------
7/17 (2) - Loveder (CHF)
7/16 (1) - Nyland
6/15 (4) - Pitman (Full Back)
4/14 (3) - Boucher
4/18 (3) - Priestley
3/17 (2) - Wilson +46 goals
3/14 (1) - Meiers

anyone of the top 5 could win the henley B&F

that only took 27 minutes

give your club a try, meanwhile will try the favourites...

10/16 (6) - mount
10/18 (7) - dow
5/15 (4) - noske
5/15 (2) - uncle
----------------
13/18 (7) - harrison
7/17 (5) - Potuszynski
--------------
6/18 (5 Bogs) Mackereth
6/18 (0) jye Karpany
3/3 (?) Hartwell played 2 reserves???
1/8 (0) dan Karpany
--------
7/16 (6) Rossack.... has a better ratio than pitman, but who do the full forwards choose as Full Back

Now choose your medal count winner

and which invitees are missing?

Marbles whilst i understand your argument I'll just point out and this is a fact i know that in div6 and i'm sure it happens alot in div7 as well, The best players that go on sporting pulse are the best players that get phoned through to the Sunday mail which is normally done by a team manager or someone like that and not always infact very rarly the actual best players for the day.

For example in i think round 17 this year out of our best 5 players in the paper only one of them made the awards and B&F votes for that round and even that was only 5th best. Hence why i think its a good thing the coaches pick teams of the year as you can not rely on the best player numbers as they are often misleading.

very rarely? Phht. Carey whilst I understand ur argument and this happens alot in many divs, but just cos u played div 1 5 years ago and u played 5 good games in a year doesnt giv u auto selection in a team of the year

If noske gets selected then the whole thing is a ridiculous joke

No way could you use sportingpulse to pick TOTY. I rarely had any input in what names went on there and when I did I never put much thought into it. With how quickly clubs have to put the results in after the game I am normally sill speaking to the players when it is being uploaded.

If I was coaching there would be no way in the world I'd put my best players in any publication, not for the first 9 rounds anyway.
I'd rather see some fringe back pocket player getting tagged because he's been listed in the best 3 each week.
