Daniel Lees from Port Adelaide is a chance to line up there as well.

Only rumour and more out of hope than reality......at this stage. More to the point "unconfirmed" gossip going that a mid 20's aged 6.4 ft lawyer playing for an SANFL side is being looked at by a Victorian AFL club as a mature age rookie who can develop in a forward position. Would be giving up a healthier pay packet and career advancement by accepting such an offer for what I expect would be for a small window of time playing top tier football.....providing he even got a run.... Comes down to a case of priorities and opportunities. Now it might be him it might not....Pretty sure if this is pie in the sky stuff and the SANFL no longer has anything to offer.....he would then come back to the "den" where he has mates playing footy.

PS. Just for information the SMOSH West Lakes Club had its Presentation Night Saturday last (very late I know) and the winners were

A Grade Aiden Parham (ruckman) with runners up being veteran fullback (Ian Ralston) and backpocket Emment Cashel third.
B Grade Nick Martin
C Grade Phil Noble ( 6 Club Best and Fairests all grades)
D Grade Jake Urdanoff
U/18 Kane Russell

Congrats to all those players for a great season.

Ruckman, Full Back and Back Pocket top 3 and not an on baller in sight. Bit of a rarity, but then again so is a presentation night in the middle of November.

SMOSH didn't have a player in the top six goal kickers but their defence did have the least amount of points kicked against it after 18 rounds. The stats would seem to validate that some defenders seem to have done well last year. Besides a backpocket player from Kilburn (Pressler) won the Association Medal...... not as rare as you may think.

Seems Smosh have been quite active in the off season in way of recruiting. Appear to have signed Pooraka's A grade captain Dean Pead over to the Lions Den for 2013 season. His leadership on and off the field will be an asset to Smosh and a big loss for the Bulls.

Not that strange that someone who is capable would rather play Div 2 as opposed to Div 4
