In my opinion there were 24 best players today, no passengers, most beat their opponent and good signs, give a few weeks wen ppl know each other better and gel more and this side could do great things!

being involved with footy for over half my life, playing ,coaching in some of the best assosiations in the land and winning the bigs one ,i have never had a win like we did today.to say that i am the proudest coach around and not only the win but the whole way we wenht about the day.
when you have 24 guys playing as a brotherhood, one in all in,the hardest and best tackling i have seen in a long time and the fact we had 19 smothers today,no oneilbeat you.but today was about emotion.the big test comes next week and how we front up but tonight i am so proud of a playing group, supporter base, volunteers and friends that have been through so much together and are starting to come out the other side
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

I was very impressed with the sides performance today. With more players to come in I will be looking forward to see how we improve through-out the year.

Enjoy it while you can. Heard ovi's were good, and especially in the one percenters! but Districts had no bench as a few B graders didn't show up, so were missing a couple of handy players. Enjoy it while you can; I dont think you'll find it as easy again this year!

i think its time you changed your profile mate
we are not getting carried away mate and appreciated a great game yesterday
the game was played in good spirits by both teams
as for no interchange i think you should check your facts mate or is it the fact for the first timein three years we actually had a full team
so far this year we have had clowns commenting on us from taking bets on when we will fold to your stupid comment
one of the keys im teaching my lads is wether you win, lose or draw you do it with respect, honor and humility towards the opposition
maybe you should come down to ovies and maybe you might learn something
or are you above the rest of us mere mortals
never to old to learn
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

very harsh. Out of interest, we were missing our best CHB, first choice FF, most exciting HFF/FP we have that'll change with me on te ball, plus at least 3-4 blokes who would push for our best 18. THEN we have 4-5 new recruits that we haven't seen but have played with the army lads and Scoota (dvc) has good things to say about their ability... Add to that the lads that have never played the game before, I think we've had 5 of them so far. They'll only get better and more confident.

Still plenty of upside at the Cattery.

Also, DW... We could do with a crafty forward pocket if you know of one... ;-)

Just a bit of trash talk guys (sorry if anyone took it to heart), great start to the season for you. What you guys have done out there (dee man in particular) over the last 6 months has been great, and wish you the best this year.
