I thoroughly enjoyed the article:

"BROADVIEW WINDS BACK CLOCK Past players gather at Tigerland" on Page 10....

I tried to find it on any other page - nup - nowhere to be seen

Anyway, I thought I'd look at Page 10 anyway - D2R - wonder how Pembroke and Eastern Park B's are travelling on the premiership table - WTF!!!! - they've swapped spots........

Its the D2 premiership table masquerading as the D2R table.........seriously, is it really that difficult?

Bout as hard as the footy budget getting new photos & not recycling last years!

Have to laugh, who writes this crap and do they even know how the system works  , seeing as they write for the amateur league you would think they would check  .
Have listed Ovies & Nth Pines as being the teams to be relegated this year from Div 7............relegated to where or is there going to be another division added otherwise would have thought they are just finishing 9th & 10th and still in Div 7 next season.
Glenunga & CU may get thrown a life line to stay in Div 6 if either or both Henley & Athelstone play off in the Div 7 GF as neither will go up.

Ashley Porter:- We can tell you now that St Paul's OS forward Ivan Novosel will top the complete list. He booted five goals last Saturday to take his season tally to 100

I'm sure Ben Vezis on 104 might have something to say about that.........

Get it right....

Exactly what I thought Jimmy.

With such a cracking round to play in Div 1, and finals in all other grades, to open up on Tuesday to a database extraction of goal kickers for the year is pretty poor. Thursdays edition left plenty to be desired as well.

I must admit that I was enjoying the Budget last year but unfortunately this season has seen a disaster o the media front all round.

The SAAFL edition has mistakes and doesn't fully grab your attention to the extent that you would print it out, whilst now the Budget has become an "I hate the SAAFL" rant session in the editorial. I have stopped printing them out and just make a glancing skim through the ladders or teams that I want to look at as well as the club profile and that's it.

The SAAFL need to make the Footy News more captivating reading, whilst Hosie has to stop with the anti-League rants - I think that it's a little hypocritical to slam the SAAFL for virtually everything they do but trying to make money from their activities.
