Klompy got 108 last year how many of them did Cooke,Newman and Ryno give him?Thats right none of them played Bs so he carn't be that bad and lazy,But like last year Klompy admitts hes well feed,Ive still seen many gun sides with gun midfields that have gone no where its a team game just ask all the backmen out there. And as for 20 to 30 goals?ive never none him to kick less than 50 in any grade hes played.Hows Locky coping this year now hes got some good players around him?Havnt seen Jurina playing is he injured?

Was more referring to Nuggety Goodness quote,Mind you did see Cooke and Ryno put a few down his throat on saturday.Lairdy is a pretty good player alot better than he umpired?is he going to umpire again or is he playing from now on,Who ever umpired against Phos was a joke

I wouldn't have thought that the umpire should be umpiring against anyone.

ah ok, no worries Wattle.. Ya dont even really need to put it down klompys throat.. He has hands like scoops and uses his body well. Old timer, been around the block. Lairdy plans on playing the rest of the year.. His over umpiring. His out this week with a hip complaint.

As in the umpire from last time Ovies played Modbury.. If thats the case, its often thought he won Modbury the game.. Not sure if you realised that, I dont think you's didnt deserve the win that day..

i think he was referring to the wording, the umpires don't umpire 'against' anyone...... they officiate the game, from a neutral position.

in any case, good or bad, umpires need to be commended for standing up and doing the job, we can all complain about how badly they do their job but without them we wouldn't have our beloved game. it's no wonder why we have second rate umpires most of the time, everyone gets critisized for doing it!!!

maggots are maggots that's it and they base their decisions on what they see not what you see... so get over it...

Exactly right, well said Nuggzy.. I think from another point when blaming an umpire for a loss maybe the offenders should ask themselves if they hit every target they should have or if they kicked the goals they should have or even made important bumps or tackles they should have because at the end of the day an umpire can make 2 or 3 decisions that can swing a game but compared to 15 or so behinds kicked in a game, 10 missed tackles, 20 turn overs or not aplying pressure when you should be I dont think the umpires poor decision compare no matter how many he makes. Someone has to lose yeh, but without an umpire no-one would win.

Had a loss today.. My first loss under Chris in about 40 games. Modbury were quite simply fitter, hungrier and communicated more then we did. Ovies 40 points down at 3QT pinged it back to around 4 goals.

yeah, not a good day for the cats. first half was very poor. modbury had more runners and had more winners all over the ground. only a few contributors for the cats. better second half reducing the deficit but not enough.
the 2nd quarter was the worst, we kicked 2 points with the breeze..... shocking!
definately GF preview...

other results look quite interesting...
Wingies with another win, and the towns giving it to PHOS...
2 unpredicted results there or not?!?

should make the race for fifth interesting between the Towns and Pines... any picks? not that it'll make much difference in the end...... or will it?!?

the Pines have a tough run home, they'll drop out is my guess...

Definately a couple of upsets. Towns look the better of the two sides but getting players on the park may be the problem for them. 16 and 12 is not enough players to make a push come finals time. Are Edwardstown dropping players from their B's to bolster their C grade side in the hope of making the finals?

16 and 12? have i missed something?

considering their magoos are a game outside 3rd spot in 6th with a better percentage than those above them can they afford to drop players into their Cs?

Only had 16 players against Modbury and the week previous to that when they forfiet only had 12. Seems a big turn around to pump PHOS by 16 goals. Perhaps just qualifiying a few players?? :?
