I can't think of a college side that doesn't pay players. They're not just a college side either, West Lakes.[/quote]

Smosh did have an awesome side that year when they came up into div 2. Knocked us off at home in the first round of games. From all reports though there first 21 were good but fell away quickly after that and when injuries hit them mid year it all went down the toilet. Be interesting to see how there side comes together this year.
That year they had solid players both forward and back as well as a dominant midfield.
with the signing of fraser and porplyzia staying on, captain ralston down back smosh should have the key positions to very competitive in div 2 this year.
I think i will be a very even comp.

Yeah SHOCs probably dont pay players, just about 10 "assistant coaches". Either that or they have a very good incentive system like Scotch.

I hear he was there only to unclog the home toilet which the new b grade coach had destroyed and had a few 70m dobs on the oval and was signed instantly.

Only players getting coin at SMOSH will be Porcelli and Bomber clifford is the latest runmours I hear.

Fraser apparently did his nut. Demanded ferraris, gold jewellery and all sorts of stuff.

good to see the second Morris twin back at the club from Eagles. A very good result for SMOSH.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Firstly Joel Brown plays for Uraidla not Lofty. Secondly as has been reported on both the Mt.Lofty website and countless times on different threads on this forum ex North Adelaide & Mt.Lofty players Ben Gordon & Travis White have signed with Athelstone and at least one more Lofty player may shortly follow suit.

Grossman leaving is a loss and a half...

What was the story with Joel Brown last year? I know he signed and then went back to Uraidla but I don't know if we ever heard why...
