I can't speak about the clubrooms or the parking because I've never played against Uni, but I know when we host finals at our oval they always bring a decent crowd and make a pretty good atmosphere.

Which idiot claimed Kilburn to be the greatest and most successful football club in Amateur league. They have won a grand total of
2 - A1 Grand Finals. There fat chairman keeps telling everone how good they are "or were" - but now they are an A4 side.
Look at probably 20 clubs over the last 100 years who have won more than 2 Flags. They are the great pretenders of the league.
Look in the last 30 years alone with clubs having more than 2 Flags and you find - Teachers College, University, Broadview, Greeks,
Riverside, Gaza, Goodwood Saints let alone the great Semaphore Central sides before that and many more teams.

Kilburn a great club - you are joking

Kilburn - a great club for sucking money out of the council and government - YOU ARE RIGHT THEY ARE THE BEST

Unfortunately university is in the parklands - women's & children's hospitals, adelaide oval etc but it's never been a major problem finding a park even on days where adelaide oval is being used.

The club rooms are the general havelock hotel where anybody is welcome - uni don't have a clunrooms due to council regulations (nothing can be built on parklands without city council permission) - which is a shame but is worked around. I'd like clubrooms but if it can't be done it can't be done.

The stereotyping of uni players as spooners is passe - uni have a side made of country kids studying at roseworthy, rural kids and from many many educational backgrounds.

I've asked this question before and not had it answered, why does having junior sides make a club more of a club than a club that has only senior sides? University could go into junior grades but it is based around an eductaional level rather than a common geography ie suburb. If uni did get junior sides, I'm sure that clubs would scream blue murder regarding pinching local young players.

I've played at district clubs (tea tree gully and payneham) and at university and have found that uni is as much a club as those clubs with as much voluntary work put into the club. Ex Uni players are also actively involved in many district clubs and primary schools teaching and coaching sides.

cheers.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Your attitude and abuse to other members is shocking!! I say you would have never been involved with anyone at Kilburn, merely just trying to make a name for yourself on the forums!!

And a bad name of the forums too... all his comments are rude and aggressive, the guy needs a chill pill

I've deleted the offending post by Sharkers and also any responses to it.

Can we see some constructive discussion about the situation facing Kilburn please, otherwise I'll remove this thread from the forum.

Cheers, DW.
