Haines is a great get. Always impressed me when i saw him play at South. I felt he was underrated externally. Probably not by South though.

This certainly adds to their depth and quality but another 4 points attached to him. Maybe i have missed it but hasn't the talk been that Scotty Lycett was heading there. If that is the case there is another 4.

A points conundrum has been mentioned but they played the Elim Final last year on 14 points. You can take 6 points off in 2024. That makes 8 plus 8 = 16. I reckon one of their under 18s might get some game time for developmental reasons and whiz bang there your points is sorted and a pretty handy top end to support the good kids coming through.

Fair to say they will be in the mix if this does play out.

Having heard it from multiple sources now but not having seen a post i guess it still technically a rumour but some big outs for PAOC and some huge gains for Kybybolite in 2024. We did mention it on commentary throughout the year so its not unreasonable that a few of the boys head back down to the South East next year.

PAOC Outs
Jack Trengrove
Andrew Bradley
Clarky. Not sure which one as i get them confused even though they are not brothers but the one that was a Junior there.
Schultz - former Junior
Jordy Neal also gone but not to Kyby. Having a crack at NFC i believe.
Juice Davis - top up for the Crows

PAC Ins
Jack Trenorden
Hugo Kelly
Wade Chant
A whole bunch of talented 18 year old's coming out of their First XV111 program of which no doubt there will 2 or 3 jets.

Certainly become a very tough ask to go back to back in 2024.

With Haines, Rose and now Lycett confirmed and not losing too many you’d think Districts would start premiership favourites with most.

Not the Crows top up player

Waikerie, went to South because his father and grand father played there.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yep just saw that on the Bays website.

Best forward, best defender and 2 best mids gone is a hell of a whole for any side to fill.

Port v Glenunga GF (subject to change every couple of weeks between now and April :D )

Lycett def 5 points, Haines 4 points not sure on Luis Sharad's points coming back from crows. I'm hearing Benny Sawford possible as well. Its a bloody good problem to have. Some of the young lads will have to get a run to keep the points down which is great for development.

Sharrad has technically been there the last 3 seasons, would be a zero pointer in 2024 going off this match report from round 8 - https://www.playhq.com/afl/org/adelaide ... e/e6ab6df3

Given many of them are good mates you'd think they'd sacrifice the money for the opportunity to play together.

Lycett just finished a 5 x 600k deal, should be ok.

That's the thing a few people miss, playing with mates, and the chance to win a flag as well.

Correct: If you keep thinking you have to buy a premiership then you will keep buying + keep getting the mercenaries who only play for money & stay a year or two and give nothing back.

You will also continue to ask "how do they fit them under the salary cap?"
