Quiet forum this one - any new signings for any of the clubs in this div? Plympton will be tough to beat especially playing them down there - mitcham beat pembroke, hope valley twice, walkerville back end of the year and came home with an absolute flurry - if they can sign some players they will also be tough. Looks like it could be a very even comp without standouts like pembroke & hope valley over the past couple years

Plympton have added Curtly Hampton who will strengthen them further. Morphy Parks will be up there I suspect with Dave Hankin from Sunraysia and Brody Trembath from the Bombers good additions. Pooraka have pretty much signed all their current group from this year and will be thereabouts. Mitcham s current group have re-signed and will add a few but their list is good enough. I’d expect Leys to get a few to Portland but they have lost Thomas. Kenilworth have added Frazer Goodes who played in a A grade flag for Goody Sts but lost Sam Scott. The rest are pretty quiet but it will be a good even comp I reckon.

Good pick up for plympton thats for sure - if they keep there playing list they'll be hard to beat. Interesting that thomas has left i wonder if his mates like neade, milera will leave also? Morphies are always hard to beat out there on that weird oval they have - just need to strengthen up there depth. Don't know a lot about mitcham but always a good start when the current group has all re-signed - reckon they have a good enough list even though they havent played finals for a while? Walkerville have also been very quiet on the signings front. Will be a very interesting comp thats for sure

Neade, Terry and Ian Milera have all signed on. Thomas has gone to North Haven I’m told.

Been quiet because nothing much is happening. No Pembroke or Hope Valley so we can’t winge about their superstar signings. I believe the comp will be pretty even so that’s good for footy. I heard Lockleys gun goalkicker has a new gig, might be heresay, but there is no real stars coming in to clubs so it will be what it will be.

My guess

Morphy Park
Plympton
Mitcham
Pooraka
Walkerville

Lockleys
Portland
Kenilworth
CBC
Hectorville

Top 3 just because I live south side and can go and watch a few games without travelling too far. :D :D

Not helping anyone mate, retired at the end of last year, don’t enjoy pre season, and certainly don’t enjoy the cold nights at training during winter. :D :D

Good position to be in back up wise.
Problem is they may have to pay $$ to people in the B's to keep them happy

Good on them if they can make it work. They clearly have a culture to attract good players. As we all know injuries take care of a percent of it, it’s just the finals that make life a little difficult. A lot of clubs would have a similar points issue, no biggie. I know Mitcham had a similar points situation in 2022 but by seasons end they played with 7 and beat a grand finalist in Hope Valley in round 18.

Watched Plympton V Smosh. Smosh not as good as they were last year. Didn't see Plympton play last year but they were very good, moved the ball well and made Smosh look ordinary, Hampton looked very good and will be a hard to stop. Have to be Div 4 favourites.
Stayed and Watched Lockleys V PHOS, Lockleys also well structured and had some handy players, probably won the first half, Phos looked like they had a few out. I think Lockleys will still be top 5.
