How will upgrading Thebby help North Haven?
Not saying it wont, just wondering what flow on effect we will get from more seats and carparks at Thebby?

As well as extra income from conferences, private events.
With the 4th changeroom you'd see more higher level footy being played there
In saying that, I also doubt very much we would see calls scrapped altogether.
The short of it is, the more revenue the league can make from outside sources, the less they will ask from the clubs.
Mind you, someone from the exec would have a better answer to that question.

Concerts? you are kidding right?
Does it currently have any conferences or private events apart from SAAFL related events?

Generating Revenue during summer. Not a lot of cash flow in the off season and with Adelaide downsizing its options for outdoor concert venues not a silly idea.
With the new facilities it can market itself as an alternative venue for those types of events.

When did the SAAFL cease being a not for profit organisation?
Just out of interest is Thebarton council owned or SAAFL owned?
