They're C graders for a reason

Are you saying we should have a Div 5 C-Grade vs Div 1 C-Grade match to see who is better

If you apply that same logic, then a Div1 side should be the same as a Div5 side and a Div1R side should be the same as a Div5R side - they're A and B graders for a reason...

noooooooooo.

Obviously the A grade players at a div 1 club are going to have a higher skill level, however, for the best part, most C grade players (whichever division) are out there for a kick and a catch, they're not playing A grade perhaps because they're not as blessed skills wise as their A grade counterparts.

It's like saying that Ovingham in the last 3 or 4 years shouldn't have been remotely competitive in c1.

Lets just put it into perspective. These are C and D grade teams of clubs. Some clubs will have nominated teams, even in D8 that probably won't even be there come March, due to lack of numbers. These are only provisional make ups. Even last year, we sadly saw Smithfield and Paralowie, go from D5 and D6 respectively, during February and March. Once clubs have better ideas of numbers, then start worrying about where each team is placed. This is not meant to be disparaging to the C and D Grade teams. Just wait and see until every club knows how many numbers they have, before everyone jumps up and down with the C Grade competitions.

So what grade would you like to be in? Why don't those complaining do their own gradings.

I would say that the div 8 won't go ahead. Gepps x struggle to fill a side in the d grade unless and season suppose to fill a d grade and as s demon said providing they get the numbers. That's 4 teams you have to rely on filling a d grade. When was the last time seaton and unley filled a d grade or have they ever?

I don't think Unley has ever fielded a D grade, however I can't see there being any issue at all for 2012. I would say we are 'certs' but that could always come back to bite me.

from purely a ovingham point of view this looks alot more balanced for us
their is no way we are in the same level as the c1 teams in the proposal
yes we had a good start to last season but their is no way you would think the league would distroy clubs that are trying to rebuild
smithfield from last year is perfect example where they put them in c1 and really gave them no chance to build
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Thats strange, I find it hard to believe Blackfriars have the numbers for a C grade team?

Well done S Demon this looks perfect! I know from our clubs point of view this is where we would like our C grade to sit.

Did I read somewhere that ALL C grade games will be scheduled as triple headers?
