We were at a place called Melaleuca's, backpacker joint in the heart of town. We were there for four days and only left Mitchell St one, to go to the Casino, plenty of pubs along the one street to keep you company (place called the The Tap does $20 fishbowls). Wore thongs almost everywhere except casino. Only took singlets, shirts got too hot.
Top quality trip.
