One wonders if the Executive Member will jump aboard to support his buddy, our illustrious CEO after the Podcast debacle on Friday night. One wishes people like the EM and others who know what is going on behind the scenes would actually show a bit of ticker and let the people know what is going on. Last week he told us that it was "Codswollop" but then - when push came to shove he let out HALF of the entire truth. I did say only HALF as well as probably only 1/100th of what we all know was discussed. When the sh*t hits the fan over the next few months lets see if the EM jumps ship or actually comes out and tells the Club (yes the ones who he and the others on the Executive represents) the entire truth about everything that goes on in the bunker of Colonel Klink.

As the net is closing in and quickly on everyone involved. We will see who jumps ship and who stays to defend the undefendable. As there are more leaks than the Titanic at Luft Stalag Thebarton, at the moment, more and more and more are knowing what goes on, but more importantly just like the Tiger Woods episdode, more and more will jump aboard as word filters through "whatever means necessary'

Heard something interesting that came from Mondays meeting of the gifted

The "Centenary Ball" budget has been blown out by massive proportions and we will ALL have to pay for it AGAIN in our calls next year

Can anyone shed any light or dispute this?

2. Centenary Ball
It was agreed that for the Centenary Ball each club would purchase a table of 10 and this cost be spread over the 2010 – 2011 call period. The Ball is planned to be held at the Convention Centre on Saturday 19th March 2011. A number of venues were investigated and there are limited venues that will hold 1,000 guests and the pricing varies only marginally from each venue. A central venue was selected. In the original estimates, it was predicted to be $100 per ticket but the actual cost will be more like $150 per ticket and this is without making a profit. This leaves a short fall of $500 per table. The Executive proposes that this extra amount is billed to the clubs and spread over the four call payments of 2011.

Recommendation: That the additional club tables payment for the Centenary Ball is increased in 2011 by $500 ($125 x 4 payments).

Dont know if it was passed or not

No vote taken as all finance was held over to next month as the financial figures for May were not released until that night and delegates had not had time to review the report and as a result could not vote on anthing to do with finance.

Then actually RESEARCH on X and found it to be $150 ea how do you reckon I would go?
