500 tickets sell for $5 bucks each.

EVERY ticket is drawn. (so good to get everyone at the club on a Saturday night and you can have happy hour while the draw is running)

1st ticket out wins $25.

Every 25th ticket drawn wins $10

LAST ticket drawn wins $500...

can that be a little time consuming and boring after 400 or so tickets????

I am considering a variation on the Demon Club draw this year which I have seen at a few country clubs, Hahndorf springs to mind?

100 tix at $50 ea
100 squares 1m x 1m drawn on the oval
Get a cow/sheep out on the oval
Whichever square the cow/sheep sh*ts in wins $1000
Make for a great spectacle and gets everyone outside chering the animal on

I agree, that is gold. It might be difficult if it is a sheep, three pebbles might land in one box and three in another.

That's what ours is, the Back 2 Front Draw, except it's 100 tix at $30, usually draw 20 at a time then have a break, takes a fair while to get through them all.

At GG we still pass around the old 'Lucky Squares' a few times a week. Although you only make $20 per card, it all adds up in the end and usually pays for the footy trip. We also had a Mexican Night last year which was great with the margaritas etc.
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I don't do too badly really.

I went to the Modbury Quiz night this season and took 1st prize from Matt Jollys team who has won every year for the past X amount of years, then I go to Hope Valley and win a gorilla.

Here's betting I don't get too many invites for club functions next year though :(

Try the Kilburn Fundraising Programme - Go running to the Port Adelaide Council, State and Federal Governments everytime you want another million or two dollars. They have the best fundraising programme in the entire state
