Go You PHANTOMS. Whats going on with the website? I cant keep updated from the UK if there are no writeups.
Is Stephens doing anything useful for the Phantoms yet?

Perhaps you could give a match report of the Phantoms smashing of SHOCS for me Bandar! I jumped on early sat morning (UK time) to see the results posted on the SAAFL website. Typical my first match over here rained off! They were actually considering playing on what resembled some form of pitch in the middle of an oval. Nice clubhouse and surrounding areas though. Very impressed!
Hope all is well mate.

SHOCS had quite a few changes from previous game and while there is some ability there I'm not certain the guys who came in ran the game out that well. Kym Koster played did some good things but pretty much went to the bench at about the 10 min mark of each quarter. I reckon hauling the big knee brace around would be pretty tiring. I'd expect a fair improvement from them in around 4 weeks with some games under their belt. They have some players to return as well. It was probably our best game so far this year, we started to run a bit which helps. Div 2 is all over the place at the minute with the second round results nothing like the first and this weeks without the gepps/chicks game not really proving any thing either. After the Anzac day clash I think there will be a fair indication of where Gepps are at but people that have seen them put them as favorite.

Pretty much spot on there Bandar. PHOS were much cleaner with their disposal and got numbers back well across half back and stopped pretty much everything coming fwd from shocs. Sandford was very good as was Stephens I thought. SHOCs will improve, had 6-7 of their best players out, was Franz's first run for 18 months - so things will improve for them. Your right about the Div 2 comp, PHOS and Gepps will be up there, then we'll prob need to see the form over the coming weeks with the rest of the comp....should be an interesting year.

Big game this week with gepps v the phantoms. Gepps do not have a great record against PHOS and will be hoping to turn that around this week. 3 day break from ANZAC day will be interesting.

Gepps beat Kilburn on ANZAC Day at Gepps in front of approx 2.5 thousand people by 6 goals. Great crowd and good coin made over the bar and bbq etc.

Sounds good - looks like some other clubs may and should look at this type of stand alone game.

They'll be fortunate that there are two teams worse than they are.

PHOSC played poorly, our favourite ump (montessa) tried his best to make us loose agian, cant believe they have let him umpire again!!!! It was good to see Curtis is still no good, game on the line and he was is usual self, through his hands and lets us get a goal then he didnt man up and we kicked another goal. Hey, couldnt happen to a nicer bloke, PHOSC is shattered that he isnt lining up for them anymore. Cooky went alright, PHOSC could do with a player of his ability, attitude, desire and dedication, he is a honest player. Lucky win for the boys
