Having played at a Div 1 club ( i only made it to the 2's) and then involved with a Southern Football club I think it has more to do with the culture of the club and the coaching staff, not what league you are in.

Kooka's Can u confirm or deny that players at Kenilworth are fed up with with Mitchell? And that is the reason you can't feild 2 competitive sides in your centenery year?

to tell you the honest truth duncs7 the club didnt go out a recruit the players required to keep the rise going. We have lost players, the majority is from our B's and last year we had a C grade, this year we dont. Mitchell we keep on being his user self, a hard and under player that doesnt mind a scrap. We do have a pressure game next week agaisnt Hectorville, have to get a win on the board

no use being a in and under player if u r going to be a wanker about it.y is it ok not to mind a scrap as u say if this guy is coach? doesnt set a good example for others to follow if u go around throwing punches.kooka how does he talk to the players at training about things then go out on a sat and be the player he is .dont understand how he could be coach

A coach should be the last one getting involved with "scraps" a coaches job is to think something not normally invovled with "scraps" on the footy field

Didnt try to recruit or did u run out of money after trying to buy a premiership last year. We were staggered when talking to a few of your guys about how much money some of your players were getting paid. Way to much for D5-6. We dont pay anyone! We play for our guernsey not for the dollar thats the difference when it comes to the crunch. U cant buy spirit.

In a previous topic, saafl predictions. I said they would struggle this year after someone had them as premiers.
They just dont have the firepower to win games. Grant Coffee has been useless to them. When we played them he looked lazy and disinterested. Other than that i cant shed anymore light on their situation. There reserves look the goods, they beat us in rd 1, which is no mean feat!

we had a good day at kenilworth on the weekend, the A's had a very good win and there were plenty of past players and supporters out for the gala day. hopefully they keep on going up and up the ladder. Duncs7 you would be very happy with the way the A's are going at the moment?
