Kilburn. I was selling beers watching your div 5 grang final so don't go talking Fitzroy up. Did anyone lay a tackle or even chase in that game. Looked like touch footy!

It's hard to lay a tackle, or chase, when the other team doesn't have the ball....
We won the game/Premiership as underdogs- what more do we have to do?
Nothing more.

PS Andy #24 seeing as this is a Div 4 discussion tread, & Kilburn are not in Div 4, & you tend not to add anything of substance- what is your point of being here, apart from trolling?

Here's something positive. Fitzroy did have a fair few nice looking supporters at the grand final. This is something or club could improve and should make more of a priority than recruiting players. The div 5 GF was more skilled than I expected with not much pressure, I expected it to be the other way round.

And after all that banter, back to the footy.

I know that Portland have started training already, albeit once a week. Good turnout too by all accounts.

Sounds like all those Westies boys are running out of clubs.North Haven thought they were dead set certainties 4 flag by recruiting those thugs,It come back & hit them square in the face,Now they'll have 2 wait a few more years 2 build the $BANK$ up.As 4 those westies boys,if s/w take them back they need 2 have a good look at themselves & maybe the amatuer league needs 2 bite the bullet & show some balls & get rid of them all2gether.

Have PAOC appointed a coach yet? I know they re-advertised for the position again in the paper, but they did have Craig Smith going for the job, who was with the Eagles under Age this year?
Everything is fair!

So the amatuer league need to bite the bullet & get rid of who? not sure what you actually mean by this. What makes you think that the players that played at North Haven this year wont be there next year? oh dont tell me you are getting your info from what the riddler just wrote.

Riddler was probably being a bit general in the previous comment but c'mon Demps, you know who the PLAYER in question is..I doubt Haven would be looking at getting rid of anyone of your calibre, you're good for the team and couldn't see you going back to SW. It must have been hard being the white sheep of the family

well I started training 2 weeks after we finished playing (except for 3 weeks while I was in Thailand). So I should be fit & ready to go for the season start. I think pre-season starts this month, might not train until after christmas :)
