The Big Shrek wrote:I hear the video of Gatto looked terrible and he should have got 4 weeks. Seems like the tribunal doesn't like the criticism it has copped recently and decided to avoid another controversy.

I noticed in boozehound's posts that he never mentioned what the video footage showed. His argument was that it shouldn't be relied upon as the umpire was there and the video was from a worse vantage point. If you had seen the video but nothing else boozehoud, what would your opinion be of the incident? Be honest.

In all honesty if i wasn't there and had only seen the footage i wouldnt have been surprised he got A game as contact on the footage didn't look that hard....except fuller rolling around like he had been shot!!!!

What the footage didn't show is that gatto jumped off his line to lessen the impact. Fuller took the mark and was then pushed in the back by his opponent. Thats was forced fuller in to gatto, but the footage didn't show that gats moved off his line to lessen the impact and the ump who chose to take no action after having a great view didn't even turn up!!!!

Kilburns strengths are their run from the middle and targets up forward however I think they have their fair share of weaknesses which we might try better to expose next time...

Won't give away too much though.....

TBS, scrap was a bit of fun no real damage done and we all had a laugh later in the game....yes both of your players against little old me...

Remember saying this boozehound? Are you still keeping our weaknesses under your hat? 3 weeks till you get to try and redeem yourselves at your ground.

Absolutely no elbow. 100% guarantee that.

You have way too much time on your hands Shrek trolling through past posts. I still believe that and at the end of the day you haven't seen the best of us by a long shot. You guys had a great deal more at stake than we did last saturday.....

From what i understand, not even the Flinders people thought it was an elbow. Which is why their complaint alleged a charge, not a strike or elbow.....

Calabrese was until he went OS. Besides that I'm not really sure, hasn't really been a dominant ruckman. Fraunfelter has been ok since he got to Flinders Park. Not really sure how well Solly, Hodder or Munn have been. Think Sleep at Para Hills has had a good second half of the year.

Just got on the web site. Kilburn beat Igs by 1 point. Flinders over Para Hills by plenty, walkerville over spoc by plenty.

Next week,

Flinders v Kilburn
Walkerville v Parahills

TIPS???????

Wasn't a good day, especially watching from the sidelines. The boys were in it til 3/4 time, Woody South kicked the first couple of the last 1/4, some heads dropped and they ran away with it.

Very disappointing way to end another stint in A3. Hopefully we'll be back in 2010 better equipped to make a decent go of it.

Drove past walkerville the other day and it has turned into a mud heap. One thing that is certain is that it will be a scrappy game. Has anyone seen the Flinders Park oval?

Well fought today by Iggies, was a heartstopper. Saw FC there, any good footage of me?

Why weren't you playing Pag?

Put a nice tear in the driver in my kicking leg on Thursday night. Shit way to end a year when we had to win like we did, but that's footy I spose. Hadn't missed a game for three years so I'd had a good run, but yeah, not really the best timing.

Will see ya on Saturday now Shrek, believe it'll be Salisbury v SPOC in the twos before your game.

Entertaining game between Igs and Kilburn. It went right to the wire - Kilburn kicked a point with 30 seconds to go to take the lead, but Igs had a kick after the siren from 50m to win the game. It wasnt to be, however, as it fell about 5m short.

Kudos to Kilburn, they just continued to chip away at Iggies' lead in the last quarter and never stopped having a dip. I presume it had something to do with the bake they copped in the huddle at 3/4 time!!
