Hahaha by the sounds of things Div 7 is alive and kicking again. Haha No.5 cant play then why did you Tag him? And why did the tagger give cheap shots at every scrimage? That is a cheap act is it not? And no. 6 is a very good player been in the goal kickers every game even Judd has his bad days!

It seems that the CLG boys have this league backed into a corner ive read about the bias umpires, dirty tactics, missing A graders, no bench. Injuries are apart of footy (like Your punch tackles) The good sides fill these gaps and dont let something like injuries give them a reason to think that is why they lost. Good sides arent measured by their top teir players it measured by their second and third teir players and when these players stand up maybe, you dont have the depth required?

Bias umpires is indeed a problem and dirty tactics Teams dont play games with these tactics it is just some indiviuals that do every team has them and as long as footy remains footy these players will still be there.

This is not a shot at anyone but im just saying CLG have copped the stick and come out the better (thus far) maybe this league needs to take a step back and not keep worring abot CLG players and bought players and worry about getting their own sides ready for a better assault.

[quote] by TJS555[/ Both sides played really well and the guy who is in hospitals mum was telling the clg player that it wasn't his fault and to not take notice of all the abusing he was getting?????????????quote]

The guy who is in hospital. His mum was called by his sister in the change rooms while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, so i dont how she told the clg player it wasnt his fault????????? I highly doubt any mum would be understanding to any player that injured her son in the manner this guy did.

There is always going to be a few cheap shots here and there supporters bagging each other and getting fired up, thats footy but to drop knees into a player while he is down is a low act!

If CLG are as good as they claim to be you have to wonder why this player felt the need to do such a dirty act????

Saturdays game was a bloody good game and i dont think all the boys from CLG derseve to be bagged but when you have a player cause such a severe injury and others walking around on the field counting their dollars they get before the game had finished you expect others teams are going to have something to say!

I hope I get a chance to watch a St Pauls/CLG match sometime this year, sounds like one of the best games of footy you could see (besides the knee).

A Sunday game definately has some merit and could be a good idea.
Serious question for you CLG boys a few of you have said the club will take action against your no.3 for the kneeing incident, what will this action be?

If Colonel Light Gardens were at full strength for last saturday's game, they better look out when St Paul's brings back a few players. To only win by 2 points to a side who is missing 8 players from the best 21 then Colonel Light Gardens aren't as good as we seem. A bit of 2004 revisited might be on the cards... :D

CJ
Good to see you back considering you boys will be 2 divisions higher next year. I thought you boys were cocky but shit Colonel Light Gardens are even cockier and whats worse for them is that they can't even back it up. At least you boys are showing that you can...

our A's and B's have a bye this week so hopefully we draw a big crowd to shark park. hopefully with a bit more crowd support than usual the boys can fire up and give cgl a run for their money.

Ok boys lets stop the speculation. I am the bloke that ended up in hospital after one of the CLG players put the knees in. My right lung collapsed by about 30% and i just got out of hospital(tuesday about midday). My mum was never at the game she went straight from home to modbury hospital, so thats a load of bulls***. There is currently too much swelling to tell if there is any rib fractures so i have another appointment on friday. It will take about a month for my lung to fully reinflate, so i will be out for 4+ weeks depending on the x-ray on friday. The good news is that we have players to come into the side, and i should be back for the rematch.

I think Stoney was for enquiring about the so called pot holes on the ground after the game with the umpire, in the end the umpy walked away, not 100% sure though. As for the timekeeper i have no clue.
