Houghton (8th) v Central United (9th) - picking Houghton based on the current weather prediction in what will be a bruising encounter
Lockleys (5th) v Colonel Light Gardens (4th) - match of the round, Lockleys to continue good form of the last 2 weeks and win at home
Ingle Farm (10th) v Blackfriars (2nd) - not one BOS will want to drop. as Zed noted, Farmers not to be under estimated. BOS to win
Trinity (6th) v Mawson Lakes (1st) - an old scholars battle of yesteryear, now just suburban club v OS club. TOS to upstage more fancied rivals
Uni (3rd) v Woodville South (7th) - interesting, uni win on the road and lose at home. unpredictable. Cats to take the points
home

Lockleys V CLG always is a good game, had some cracking battles in the past, they beat us by less then a kick in 2010 to knock us out of the finals, both teams play good fast footy, but have both developed a toughness now aswell.

we will know where we are at after this weekend. look forward to it

looks like the key will be stopping Naley up forward. if we do that i think we're a chance. hopefully ours mids can give our forwards more supply and also put presssure on the kicks coming into defensive 50.

KB didn't play on Saturday, copped a nasty corkie on the shin in round one and struggled to put weight on the leg during the week. Playing a KP defensive role for us this year.

Happy to have him in the team as he makes me the second oldest in the side

Uni made 7 changes to the team that beat Ingle Farm in round 1 which probably explains their unpredictability

Playing Central United this week, is it worth putting a hard tag on that Holland fella?

I've sung his praises on here before. Paul Kilkington is the man, and yes MLFC are lucky to have him. He unfortunately can't do every week, but his understudy Michael Miller is doing a great job too. Both are current ex players and are young enough to keep up with the game.
