Give us some feedback on the odds, change them if need be. Do we think anyone else could push for the medal? Get $50 each, just divide each person's odds by 3 to get the odds for a place? The bloke who makes the most 'money' out of the three of us gets a beer bought by the other two at some point during the finals...

Well after a very average player who captained the minor premier won the A3 medal last year following a very, very average season who knows how the umps will vote. Cant see Cantwell winning it given SPOC having only won 5 games despite his good season. If you go by the logic of the umps who generally just give 3 votes to the captain of the winning team because they are too lazy to actually sit down and think about who played well then the Eastern Park skipper should win it.
Can understand your point with Hopper, but was Johnson a worthy winner? From what I saw/heard this year he was going well again before breaking his arm. I know going in to the A4 count last year I thought Goodwin from Para Hills would win by a streak and the umps agreed.

Cantwell stands out like a sore thumb in that team, even when they lose.

Purely talking from last years A3 perspective Pag. Hopefully the winner comes from one the likes of Cantwell, Gatto, Cattermole or Frinsdorf but you never know how the umps will vote.

I did the whole preseason thanks shrek, we all can't be built like greek gods you know. I smell a quarter pounder and I put on a quarter of a pound. I can sprint and recover for longer than most because thats what I do in a game. Also beer tastes really good and that doesn't help.

Mate I was having a laugh about you taping the wrong shoulder.....it's funny. haven't you wondered who my source is that would have told me this?

I believe i did.......

not sure they can do too much damage though, Kilburn, walkerville and Flinders players don't seem to rate them much at all from what they have said to me.

This is true Eastern park are the only team that rate us.
Kilburn have never played us with close to a full strength side so lookin forward to seeing them in finals. then again they seem to have a new couple of players each week so the same can be said.
Walkerville thought they would walk over us on the weekend, i do hope they liked there 8am beach session sunday morning.
and flinders we will see on the weekend.
Pag great work on the weekend how confident are you boys going into this week?

Think a little bloke from Para Hills (no. 7) might surprise a few people.

Valor? He might poll a few but will not sure if he'd be Top 10. Jarvo would probably be the best hope for you guys besides the two up front wouldn't he?

I been watchin Para Hills all year and reckon mumbles is on the money here. Very eye-catching player # 7 (Valor Thach) Would probably head the list for Para Hills B&F and association medal votes I'd say, followed by Hanson, Jarvis and Page.

Judging from wat i've heard and not by wat i've seen, i can see Wilson taking the medal out.
He has been in the best players v Para Hills 2/2 and all he does is try to bust through tackles and look for the cheap goals.

a deserving player would be cattermole from woodville south. Works hard but the team has lost a fair few games this season

My picks are, $10 on Ashby, $10 bucks on Cattermole, $10 on Cantwell, $10 on Smid (big roughy at long odds) and $10 bucks on Harvey (at long odds also).

Pag you need to give me odds on ashby, smid and Alan Harvey.....Would bee got beers on it pretty dissapointed in anyone else won it. I've got beers on it......

How does this sound

Cantwell and Cattermole need to come out to atleast 5 or 6/1 based on games lost by their respective sides
Ashby to come in at 25/1
Harvey and Smid to pay 80/1

What do you reckon?

$20 on Wilson, umpires will give him votes because they know who he is. Big Reds you are a halfwit if that's all you think Willow does.

$10 on Cantwell

$10 Brodhurst

$10 Menz

Almost slipped Calyun in but don't think umpy's will give him votes because he gets less "media" coverage than the other two.

I dont know wat he has done in other games but judging on the couple of times i seen him play against Para Hills he hasnt done anything special. Rated some other players ahead of him for their games against us only to see A.Wilson in the best players???

i belive flynn-sinodinos should be in with a shot but i dont no wether the umpires have picked up he has 2 players on him and beating them and im quite sure people watching would agree.
i dont believe anyone from para hills will take down the medal coz most players mentioned have had purple patches reasonably consistent but players have been better on the days. cattermole is a reciever and cantwells team hasnt won enough, broghurst is a full forward and with the money bringing it into the forward line who couldnt look good. i believe it will be between wilson and gatto both names and the umpires will pay extra attention. gatto picks a weak HFF and makes sure he can dominate. wilson just goes bout business but i reckon gatto will get it. suprised ashby hasnt got good odds but then again if his own team mates dont like him wat chance does he have with the umpires.

Para Hills Will be lucky for a player to make top ten I say. evenly spread team with no real out and out star.
Chances of overtaking Broadhurst this week?
I will be keeping up to date with the head to head score during both games.
