Can understand your point with Hopper, but was Johnson a worthy winner? From what I saw/heard this year he was going well again before breaking his arm. I know going in to the A4 count last year I thought Goodwin from Para Hills would win by a streak and the umps agreed.tedbullpit wrote:Pag wrote:Here's something to do because I'm sitting in a uni computer pool avoiding work, watching you two bitch-fight...

Give us some feedback on the odds, change them if need be. Do we think anyone else could push for the medal? Get $50 each, just divide each person's odds by 3 to get the odds for a place? The bloke who makes the most 'money' out of the three of us gets a beer bought by the other two at some point during the finals...
Well after a very average player who captained the minor premier won the A3 medal last year following a very, very average season who knows how the umps will vote. Cant see Cantwell winning it given SPOC having only won 5 games despite his good season. If you go by the logic of the umps who generally just give 3 votes to the captain of the winning team because they are too lazy to actually sit down and think about who played well then the Eastern Park skipper should win it.
Cantwell stands out like a sore thumb in that team, even when they lose.
